SolarReviewsReviews of solarreviews.com

Pay to play website. They don't care how good a solar company is. It's basically an extortion site. Pay us, we boost you. Don't and we delete any good reviews. AG needs to look at this company.

Warning to potential SolarReviews customers: I've been continuously bombarded with sales phone calls, leading me to believe that my contact information was sold by this company multiple times. This raises serious concerns about privacy and ethical business practices, labeling it a scam in my eyes. Contrastingly, my experience with a reputable solar company last year was outstanding, underscoring the issue with relying solely on SolarReviews for choosing a provider. The company I chose was listed and rated low on SolarReviews, likely because they didn't pay for enhanced visibility or fake reviews. Despite a lower rating on the platform, their service and the quality of work on my home were exceptional. This experience serves as a cautionary tale about the potential misalignment between online reviews and actual service quality. It also highlights the importance of conducting thorough research beyond paid review platforms when selecting a solar provider.

Beware!! Fraud, this company is so misleading. From top to bottom, even the owner of the company stands by all of this. I Was Promised to get my refund anytime. Reach out to management, all i get is "I can't help, you are out of luck!" They baited me in with promises we both have recorded and haven't delivered. Stay far away, they steel your money and sell you DNC leads! As a homeowner- prompt you still fill out your information to get a real-time "quote" ...then sell your information to 4-5 other company's. -Horrible experience-

They start with what seems to be a calculator for the cost of a solar project. Then, you enter your info and they ask how many companies you want a quote from. It doesn't matter what you put because they just sell your info to everyone. In one day, I received 17 calls from various companies all throughout the day. Don't enter any of your information on here.

It is a shame that solarreviews.com is probably used by millions of people and other websites like Forbes to rate solar companies. They’re taking money from solar companies that want ranked higher, and they’re selling leads using customers data that visit the site. They do NOTHING to verify reviews are legitimate. If one solar company wants to smear another all they got to do is make a bunch of negative reviews. They’re not real, don’t trust

Energy.gov listed this site as a trusted source of info about solar energy, also noting that the company emerged via "incubator" funding (tax payer). But now you cannot get savings calculator info / results without providing a phone number, which they will no doubt sell to solar installers who will harass you endlessly. Yes, I input a fake number, but you cannot get the basic calculator info until you input the code texted to "your" phone number. Typical Silicon Valley Tech greed/scam.

This company has been calling my mobile phone number for the last few weeks 1-2 calls a week. they call and either talk a bit and hang up or just call with no one on the line. My number is on the DNC and I have never requested information from this site however I'm now getting telemarketing calls for solar as well.
