Not as it seemed
We had a lovely time but felt after careful consideration and getting nowhere with Host, we are writing this review to follow up on our stay. While the apartment itself was well cleaned and the beds were comfortable, the property fell far short of the listing and presented several issues: Property Representation: Photos need updating on Booking.com. Ai has most certainly been used. Maintenance: Worn kitchen utensils and semi broken tap, a leaking shower hose in bathroom, a damp smell throughout despite a dehumidifier, and a freezer frozen shut that was unused. Amenities: Very flat pillows that are old! a ripped dressing gown pocket, and an unusable Lay-Z-Spa due to slime inside on the bottom. Outdoor & Pet Safety: Slippery algae-covered patio, accessible chemicals, and unsafe piles of broken gazebo/spa parts. Our puppy also found a wood piece with an exposed screw and a rotten apple. The outside area was the worse. Definitely not dog suitable. Host would not give a partial refund and the faults I raised weren't taken seriously and simply brushed off as 'doesn't warrant a conplaint' If you book this property, take some water testing strips for tub. The area was great, the apartment had all you needed with added treat of an honesty jar snack bar. Just a shame the outdoor area was shocking. The overall flat was clean with the minor faults I have stated. It was the hot tub and outdoor area that let it down.
