I really appreciate this service as it provided us with a starting point and some really great HRIS systems. I do feel that perhaps 5 was a bit much only because, it has taken quite some time to speak with each of them and narrow down the field. Perhaps there is a way to add a criteria with which to narrow the field prior to sending out inquiries?

Nice way to weed out software that won't meet your needs. Out of the 5 - 6 companies they recommended, 3 met the requirements for my short list. They also had good advice on how to form a software selection team and how to detail requirements.
