Terrible service. Do not sign up with them. They do not respond in a timely manner and will lie to you to get you off the phone.

Not sure how I got to them. I was on Capterra and their chat led me to them. They called and listened to me (I thought). Which apps I was looking at and comparing. What I wanted, what plugins, what monthly cost. Then sent me two recommendations that I didn’t ask and never told me anything about the two apps I asked about. I am sure I will now be harassed by companies I had no interest in talking to. Pity.

I visited Software Advice hoping to leave a review for Paylocity, but I couldn't find a way to submit one. The site prominently displays a 4.3-star rating for Paylocity, but I was unable to determine how new users can contribute reviews. I found this confusing.

Has major inaccuracies, and no UI to fix them (no "contact us", no "edit this page" ... nothing!) Simple example: they list Chromium (a 100% free and open source browser) as not having a free trial or a free version ... but it's 100% free. Meanwhile Chrome (which you at least have to agree to Google's TOS to use) *is* listed as free. It's like Google paid this site to make Chromium look worse than it is!

What a terrible experience. I wanted to book a demo with Jane, and received a call from Software Advice thinking I was contacting Jane. I was told that Jane would not work with me because we are not a medical clinic, and Taylor (the staff person) tried to book demos with several other companies. I was very insistent that Jane was the one I was interested in. She repeated that Jane "does not do what I do." I told her "but you don't know what we do." I ended up calling Jane directly, where I learned they will indeed work with us, and booked a demo directly with their extremely kind and helpful team. This feels very sketchy!!!
