I stumbled across Software Advice at the start of my research into best in breed vendors for a budgeting/forecasting tool. I didn't know what to expect, but I was contacted within an hour of my submission and within 24 hours had been provided with a list of 5 potential vendors. All of these then reached out to me within 48 hours, I didn't have to do a thing. We have arranged demos from four of the five, after discounting one potential vendor as not the right solution. Software Advice followed up on a couple of occasions to see if I needed any further support or help. The overall experience has been great, and I genuinely feel that they know their stuff and think and act independently, to provide the best service possible to the end user.

I really appreciate what Software Advice does, and the idea behind their service. My initial conversation with the representative, was really helpful, and they asked in-depth questions to best match us with a software/service that could help. However, I never received any follow-up from the service they suggested. So, great idea - and the problem doesn't necessarily come from Software Advice itself, but a few things could be smoothed out with the follow-up from the vendors. Thanks!

They saved me a lot of time and were extremely helpful in providing me with potential vendors that met our needs as well as our price range. I stumbled onto Software Advice while doing research for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). I was reviewing ratings of these systems to help me figure out which ones to look into further. I was contacted by Brittany who asked me a few questions as to what kind of HRIS I was looking for and then she forwarded me 5 possible systems that might work for us. She also forwarded the notes from our conversation to the 5 software companies and then I was contacted by each of them. After discussing my needs further with the 5 different options, I was able to narrow it down and after being able to see their demos and try their free demos of their systems, I have my search narrowed down to just 2 and will make my decision this week. I also found Software Advice's "Best Practices : How to Evaluate Software Demonstrations" and "Best Practices: Understanding and Comparing Software Price Quotes" flyers very helpful and used these tips in narrowing down and evaluating the software companies. I would definitely suggest Software Advice because they have the reviews and company contact information already available and saved me a ton of valuable time!
