It met my expectations but a couple of things: 1) it does suck battery life from the phone so if you are filming, need to keep it charged and 2) there is lag time with the SnapyLens screen compared to how you are actually moving which was a bit disappointing. But otherwise it does the job so you can angle the phone properly using back camera.

SnaplyLens really helps me capture what I want with the back lenses. I would rate 5 stars but the instructions to set up are not perfect and are a little confusing to get the touch screen to work. Sometimes the touch response is a little slow but still gets the job done.

Big Upgrade for vids

The first unit I received would not connect to my iPhone 17 pro max. After contacting their support team along with a brief video sowing the issue I was having, they sent me a replacement unit which works perfectly. It was disappointing that the first unit did not work but their support team was quick to rectify the. Problem. I have been very happy with the way it works.

I have seen this gadget on IG and got immediatley attrected by the idea to use a 2nd monitor for checking perspective(s) to shoot. E.g. a) using mounted Smartphone to shoot a certain setting/perspective b) start shooting with remote, c) walk across the scenery, creating some movement or some kind of story, d) stop shooting with remote, e) relocate camera position to shoot a different angle/scenery, Repeat a) to e). You can create a few clips shooting your activities, combined together later on. And every view is in your control. Very useful tool.

I had some issues when I first got the snappylens, but I got ahold of support and they fixed me up right away. Great product great support
