We were very disappointed with the lack of an elevator. I and my daughter are both handicapped, and we were walking up and down three flights of stairs every day. Upon arrival and entry it was frustrating that all of the lights and lamps were not working. We had to request light bulbs. We also had to request a code for wifi instead of having it provided. I guess you could say that we were not prepared for this kind of experience. We are pretty much used to having elevator access for our needs. We will definitely be staying somewhere next time that does provide services for the handicapped. This could be a great place for those who do not have that consideration. We will complete our stay, because we are not offered a refund, and we still need a place to stay for two weeks,,,but....we will definitely be going in another direction for our next trip.

The pictures of the cabin on the Internet were just right. However, the angle of the outside pics that were taken were misleading. It said the cabin was sculeded but it was "a mobile home park set up for cabins." There were 2 cabins directly across from our cabin no privacy at all. There was a hot tub but it was on the deck but the cabin across could see directly in the hot tub. Where the bbq grill was it was a steep hill and needs some kind of steps or graden stones. Was very upset when we arrived felt like we had been tricked and had 2 sign a rental agreement and could ask for your money back or other arrangements. My tip to anyone is find out were the cabin is located we thought we were going 2 be up in the mountains and was down close to a highway with lots of traffic.

Very easy to use site however I paid for my entire stay and didn't meant to.

We stayed in Cabin T 6/20-6/24. Disappointed that the hot tub was gross. There has calcium build up all over including the seats. Which is probably why some of the jets don't work. My kids were disappointed that I would not let them go in it. Bathroom floors could have been cleaned a lot better. DVD player in the game room did not work. No satellite in the room with bunk beds.....kids were disappointed. Top sheets were not put on the beds. If you wanted to have a sheet you had to redo the beds. Otherwise the cabin was nice.

Hot tub was dirty and the water looked cloudy. It was nasty, but overall nice cabin.

Web sit could use more clarification, Ended up in a chat session to see what was really available for a pet friendly cabin, But that was quick and very helpful.

Good experience but expected better service

I had been researching cabins for a couple of days and had narrowed down my choices to two cabins (only 2 left). I chose the cabin we wanted and was getting ready to enter my credit card information when suddenly the price increased by $180. I called Colonial to ask if we could still pay the lower rental price per night and they said they did not know what I was talking about. They kept insisting that the price per night had not changed and maybe I had been looking at last year's rate. They had also increased the price of the other cabin we were looking at. I went online today and noticed that they had decreased the nightly rate of the other cabin back down to what it had been originally. I think Colonial upped the price because they knew we were interested in renting a cabin and there were not many left during the week we were planning to rent ( the two cabins we considered were the only 2 left). I found the situation to be very frustrating. We have rented from Colonial in the past and never had any problems. I think they took advantage of the situation and charged more rent per night because they knew we wanted a cabin and there were not many left.
