there is way to much paper work and hoops to jump thru just to book a cabin now a days , was on the phone 5 times and 2 days to get paper work done to secure the cabin , it is more time then our actual stay time yet to come in the cabin , that's just nuts !!! also price is a little misleading , you have the prices listed for the cabin on the web site , but then when you go to book , they charge another $ 60 just for the reservation I think that's B.S also . and its really only a 1.5 day stay not 2 days , check in time is 4pm , well that first day is just about over , then you have to leave early in morning so you cant get to do anything that day or enjoy the cabin .

Although I cannot review on my Vacation since it doesn't take place till later on this year. I have paid all my dues and have email confirmations of everything. What I can say is when contacting the customer services number or reaching out via email. I have not received a response. I have sent about 4 emails with no follow up. I hope the Cabin rental will be wonderful vacation for me and my family, but trying to get questions answered proves to be a "chore"

When I was reserving the cabin online the summary showed that the 3rd night was free but after putting in my information and hitting submit the 3rd night free disappeared and I was charged a different amount. I called and was told the March special was 4th night free but that is not what showed when I was reserving online. They would not honor the 3rd night free. Hope our vacation experience is better than the initial experience trying to rent the cabin!

We haven't stayed in the cabin yet, but they took out our last payment a month too early, but booking the cabin was an easy process.

Cabin was great! Great location! Had issues with online signature signing and wasn't able to get in touch with anyone after hours. If I had not saved the information I had been sent earlier with codes and address to property my family and I would have had been left out in the cold as we arrived late at night. With the money already drafted from my account they retracted the information due to a signature not going through. Thank goodness I downloaded all the information and we were able to get to the cabin and inside with no problems however I was never given any help from the company itself. I just prayed it would all work out on the way. Also they sent the maintenance man out the following day an hour before the office closed to ask me to sign paperwork, again the payment had been drafted already and I had to take an hour from my family when they should have come to me or sent something with the maintenance man or tried email once again. Customer sastifaction was very poor!

I wish they would have mentioned that i could have stayed another night with the special when i made the reservation.

I'm so disappointed that the hot tub in our cabin "Little piece of heaven" was not working for our entire stay.I called and asked twice for someone to fix it, but no one showed up. I had 2 kids with me who were so excited about the hut tub and so disappointing they were not able to use it. 3 days and no one showed up. I received no apologies or discount.

We were delighted to find an affordable cabin in the Smokey Mountains at very short notice for a Christmas retreat this year. The customer service representative was pleasant and courteous when we called. After taking all of the necessary information and full four day payment we were surprised to be told that we would not be provided the cabin's location until the day of our arrival by email. The CS rep. was very cautious, confident and polite as she stated that we would receive it on the day of arrival in time for the 3:00 p.m. check-in. This caused us considerable concern because we had never been to a cabin in the mountains during the winter and knew that we needed clear and advance directions to gauge our travel time, especially since we would be doing so for some of the time in the dark. We were emailed the address of the cabin just as the CS rep. had assured us, the day of our scheduled arrival, but with no directions, just an address. This left us with little time and information to plan the best travel route with the least amount of challenges. In the future we will be cautious about renting a cabin sight unseen in the Smoky or any other mountains where the renters and/or rental management are unwilling to provide advance and clear directions to the fully paid for rental property. We were most uncomfortable with this customer service policy. We found the drive from Charlotte, N.C. to this otherwise cozy, clean, peaceful and delightful one room cabin, difficult to find and somewhat dangerous to navigate through the one lane, narrow and steep mountain roads. Without the aide of our GPS we would have not been successful in finding it for it sits far back off a very busy road with no clearly visible address. The hot tub was working when we arrived but when we were ready to enjoy it two days later we discovered that it no longer had power. After a couple of calls to the office staff, a pleasant repair man came. He efficiently repaired both the hot tub and the ongoing running toilet which needed a new part. The T.V. and VCR proved to be challenging to understand and operate, but our tech skills came through for us once again. We wrote a list of detailed operational directions to aide subsequent visitors and reduce potential frustration. By God's wonderfully amazing grace we experienced a beautiful and relaxing Christmas vacation at the 'Goodness and Mercy' cabin once we got there. The décor and personal special care are a credit to the owners.
