Cabin was okay, but had problems with the reservation process.
I would first like to say that we were happy with the cabin we stayed in, Bear Point. It was conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It only took a couple of minutes to get to town, but we felt like we were secluded. Other than a few minor repairs/upgrades needed (end table leg broken, light switch to work over head lights, poor quality mattresses, wifi didn't work) it was overall in good condition and clean. However, I was not satisfied with the outcome of the reservation process. The company ended up charging us $20 more dollars than we were told upon reservation. I couldn't argue that price further than what I did because we didn't receive an email confirmation upon reserving the cabin (employee error). When we paid the final payment, we were told that we should have actually been charged $200 more dollars (employee error) but they would honor the $20 more dollar total they had documented. I emailed the owner Ben Hughes to his work account and FB work page and did not receive a response back. That was the most frustrating part. With FB you can see that the person read the message, but he didn't take the time to respond. Due to these issues, we will not use this company again.
