The same thing happened to me as it did to others. I wanted to try Smodin and purchased a monthly subscription, but somehow it was processed as a yearly charge. They declined my refund request. Very unsatisfied.

I haven't had enough time to review the product. Accidentally signed up for the annual package and their customer service states they're unable to process refunds. I'd realized instantly of the mistake I made but they didn't change their stance. Just seems crazy that a company is unable to process a refund or help in this situation in this day and age...especially a tech company.

A FUIR !!! Le processus de paiment sur le site de Smodin est TROMPEUR. Lors du paiement, tout est fait pour faire abstraction qu'il s'agit d'un paiement annuel et non mensuel. Il suffit de 20 secondes d'innatention et vous vous retrouvez avec un prélèvement annuel de 140€ au lieu d'un prélèvement mensuel de 20€ environ. Ensuite, après avoir contacté leur service client pour demander une modification pour l'abonnement et un remboursement (5jours après première utilisation), ils n'ont rien voulu savoir et n'ont fait AUCUN EFFORTS, AUCUN GESTE pour modifier mon abonnement et me rembourser, soit disant qu'il était impossibl de modifier la durée d'un abonnement une fois contracté. Voici leur réponse : "Selon notre système, vous avez sélectionné votre abonnement à un plan annuel, c’est pourquoi vous avez été facturé 144,00 $. Nous nous excusons de ne pas pouvoir remplacer un abonnement annuel par un abonnement mensuel une fois qu’il a été traité. De plus, nous avons le regret de vous informer que nous ne sommes pas en mesure de traiter les remboursements une fois que l’achat a été effectué. Le plan annuel offre des économies importantes par rapport à l’abonnement mensuel, réduisant efficacement votre coût mensuel et offrant un accès ininterrompu à toutes nos fonctionnalités et outils premium pendant une année entière. Nous espérons que vous trouverez ces avantages précieux et qu’ils améliorent votre expérience avec nos services"

Unethical company!! The same happened to me as with many others. I accidentally purchased a yearly subscription, which I do not need. I asked for a refund which they declined! I don't understand how they can refuse to to give me back money for a service I did not use yet. They could have charged a penalty free or whatever else but no they patronized me with their AI generated answers. Pathetic!

This tool is a complete scam; please be aware! I accidentally purchased the annual subscription instead of the monthly one. Given my high expectations from such a big company, I requested a refund so I could switch to the monthly plan. However, the customer service did nothing but offer repetitive apologies and justify their inability to process refunds, citing a policy meant to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers. I fail to see the fairness in ignoring customers' needs especially that I have explained that I am a student and I cannot afford 134€ for this tool! I've had similar issues with other major software companies, and they were understanding and responsive, issuing refunds within 24 hours! I am really disappointed and will never use this tool again. I do not recommend it.

This website is a scam and I would not recommend it to anybody. I was trying to subscribe to the monthly plan and instead they charged me for a full year. As I tried to change it to a monthly plan, they charged me for another 4 months. No refunds were processed as they have a "no refund policy". The quality of the text is unbelievably poor and I would have not used it for more than a month if I had the chance to actually do the month first. Paid over 220 for basically nothing. Will most likely report it as a scam as it fulfills all requirements for one. Don't sign up. It is a massive waste of money and time!
