Smith Thompson Home SecurityReviews of smiththompson.com

From the moment I called and spoke to the salesman to the time the technician finished installing my new home security I have been more than sold on Smith Thompson. Everyone has been very knowledgeable, profession and trurstworthy. No hidden charges....just straight forward and accurate communication. I am also very proud that Smith Thompson is a local company; that's a huge plus for me. I would/will recommend to anyone.

We have been researching security companies for a month or more and a friend told us about Smith-Thompson and we really liked the fact that they are locally owned and their monthly monitoring rate was the absolute best we had seen and NO CONTRACT! When we called to inquire about their system a very nice, informative representative spoke with us and answered all questions to our satisfaction. We set up an appointment for an install and Bruce, our installer, was not only on time, but even arrived early, which we thought was super. When he arrived, the first thing he did was sit down and go over the equipment we had ordered over the phone, explaining it all in great detail, plus the pricing. It didn't take long to install the equipment and he took great pains to make sure we understood how to use the equipment and was very patient and helpful when we had questions and as senior citizens we appreciated that very much. We would definitely recommend this fine company to our friends and relatives! Bobby & Nancy Henson

Smith Thompson answered all my questions, they were on time to the appointment. They were fast and friendly. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

The main reason we switched our security monitoring system to Smith Thompson is the cost effective monthly fee. It is very competitive in the marketplace. Also, I like the fact that it is a family owned business and offers excellent customer service. Also, the technician that installed our system was very efficient, experienced and on time. Sincerely, Sharon E.

We switched both the in-law's house and ours to Smith Thompson and all of us couldn't be happier. We had seen all the ST signs in people's yards around Plano and finally called to see what the popularity was all about. Turns out that you get a LOCAL company with LOCAL contacts to monitor your alarm system for about 1/3 the cost of ADT (who we had previously). So we signed up. No up-charges for wireless monitoring either! Installation of the wireless module was quick and painless. Find out for yourself, look at their website and/or give them a call. There's no pressure to sign up or buy anything. You'll be as glad as we are that you switched.

I have had previous experiences with another large company and it was not so great. My Smith Thompson has been dramatically different - in a GREAT way. The best part is they are very straight-forward with everything and have been honest from the get-go. The tech that came out to install was nice & great at his job! Best of all - no long term contract! I paid a year in advance and even doing that, I can give a 30 day cancel notice and get my money back.

I live in Dallas and heard about Smith Thompson on The Ticket. When I called to setup installation, a live human answered the phone. Cyrus gave me all the details I needed and was upfront, genuine, and friendly. Shaun showed up on time to install the system, and he was very friendly and worked fast. He easily and quickly modified our old security system. I got the UpLink system since I do not have a home phone. Shaun gave me the total price before starting the installation to be sure I was okay with it, which I appreciated. You can't beat $16.95 per month! I would recommend Smith Thompson to anybody who asked.

The rep was friendly, thorough and there were no surprises. I've tripped the alarm by accident and they were on my phone immediately. Great cost, no contract. Highly recommend!
