Mark was helpful and kind ! Not a single complaint Would reccomend to anyone wanting a home security unit !

This review is for Jesse Jimenez and Jose Perez who have just left my home. They were here to add a wireless monitoring system and add a new keypad.Little did they know what challenges they would be up against. First we are in a 2 story home which leaves very little attic space and second they were working with a 15 year old DSC wired system. Any one else, I believe ,would have just told me that it was impossible to add the second pin pad because of the difficulty. They instead took this as a challenge and worked diligently to do anything possible to satisfy me as a customer. It was hot and hard to get to but they kept on working until the job was completed. Then after they got the pin pad installed, the old DSC system would not allow them to sync the keypad. They then said they would have to replace the board in the unit to make it work.. I checked with my Customer service rep Carmen Cox who got the board approved for a very fair price. Besides all this I also had a zone which was totally off which new sensors could not fix. I then called Carmen once again who got the wireless contacts approved for each of the 3 windows. In no time Jesse and Jose got this problem corrected. In closing I am a very satisfied customer who has never seen such teamwork as was needed to complete my installation. Even though everything about the install was difficult, they continued with a very friendly and positive attitude until all was completed and my wife and I had a complete understanding of how everything operated. Much thanks and praise goes out to the technicians Jesse and Jose as well as Carmen for helping this all come together. Everyone's help and teamwork was greatly appreciated and speaks very highly of your company. I usually don't go to the trouble of sending a letter but wanted you to know how lucky you are to have such hardworking and diligent employees representing you and your company. Mark is a very professional person who showed me all of the alarm systems functionalities. He also took the time out to explain and help me program the system to my specifications. Mark met us on Saturday 2/27 to install a security system for my Mother-In-Law, Melma Angel. He called us ahead to let us know what time to expect him, which he arrived early and prepared. My wife and I felt immediately secure with the information that we were provided. Being current Smith Monitoring customers (since 2012), we were very aware of Smith's reputation for quality and customer service. Mark walked us through the details of the alarm system so comfortably that my 93 year old mother-in-law could understand. Mark made her feel that he was doing the install for one of his own family members. After installation and training on the new system, Mark even walked the perimeter of the house to suggest areas for the yard signs, and made sure that we had no concerns or issues before he left. We are planning on referring Smith Monitoring and Mark Kasson to everyone that we know in the market for a new or retrofit alarm. Dave & Bernadette King

Today's service was absolutely excellent! Jesse Jimenez went above & beyond installing the equipment & walk me through every step in using & setting up my service. I can honestly say that I have never dealt with any technician like Jesse before! :) My service is running smoothly & I now know that my home is safe & secure! Thank you Smiths & Jesse for such great customer service. I will most definitely be referring my friends & family over for service!

David Lee was our technician and was very professional. He notified he was on his way, arrived on time, explained the whole process very clearly, did a great install and cleaned up after himself. Process to learn the system and setup the online application. Completely satisfied with the whole experience.
