I received my aligners 10 days ago and am very happy with my experience so far. I chose Smilie because they had the absolute best price and also being a newer smaller company just getting started, I thought the service might be better which has definitely been the case. I received a lot of assistance when making the molds. For me it was not as easy as it looks but I had 2 zoom sessions with a very patient and thorough doctor. After the lab approves it takes 2-3 weeks before the aligners arrive which is actually very quick I think. I have to admit that on day one I had doubts that I’d be able to manage them and was starting to regret not going for the longer nighttime only version. They initially felt tight and foreign in my mouth. Since then however it’s become much easier and I can now get them in and out with ease. The company answer any questions promptly via email. Side note and a plus for me, with aligners you will no longer graze during the day. I plan my mealtimes and try to stay within the suggested timeframe. Overall am very pleased and would recommend Smilie if you are considering aligners. I can’t tell yet how well they work but I’m very optimistic. They seem to be of excellent quality and am very happy with the fit, so fingers crossed.

Their patience and commitment are exceptional. When I messed up doing my impression, they immediately sent a new kit and arranged a Zoom session with a dentist to guide me. Premium packaging and swift shipping added to the fantastic experience. Their team truly goes above and beyond. Absolutely a five-star company! Hope they get big and stay real! 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝟏 (𝟓 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫): Initially, my experience with this company was excellent, but as my treatment progressed, their service quality noticeably declined. They became increasingly unresponsive to emails and live chat requests, often breaking promises made by their agents. For example, I was told I would receive a follow-up email on an issue but was instead ghosted. There was even an instance where a scheduled Zoom appointment with a dentist was missed, and the dentist only contacted me two hours later. Upon completing my treatment, the results were disappointing and significantly differed from the expected outcome presented at the start. It seemed as if the final results were what I should have achieved midway through the treatment. The company offers a 100% guarantee for free refinements in case of unsatisfactory results, so I reached out for this service. However, their response was slow and uncooperative. The process to ship the impression kit for refinement was sluggish, taking three weeks, and unlike the initial kit, it didn't include a return shipping box or label. When I inquired about this, they promised to email me a return label which I would need to print after submitting and getting approval for pictures of my impressions. Although my impressions were approved, they failed to send the return label. It's been five days since I followed up, and there's been no response. While I haven't entirely lost faith in this company, my initial admiration and gratitude for their services have significantly diminished due to these experiences.

I had some issues with the first impressions and aligners, and now I need to revisit the situation and have new impressions taken and new aligners possibly. Dr. Arooj has been working with me via video to take new impressions to get it right this time so she’s been overly patient and direct to guide me to get the impressions correct this time to complete the process of aligning my teeth. She’s been extremely helpful in this process.
