SmileboxyReviews of smileboxy.com

Beware SmileBoxy is, for all intents and purposes, a scam site. My wife bought me what she thought was a high end e-ink ereader from SmileBoxy for $420AUD. This item was actually a low end LCD panel tablet that can be had on AliExpress for $70AUD. When I tried to arrange a return, the SmileBoxy rep tried to discourage it as much as possible and when I insisted, imposed the conditions of the return which basically meant that the return payment will never happen. Very dodgy business

The price was so low , I thoughtvit may be a scam. I am delighted with the 2 tablets I purchased- withca sizeable discount for buying two. My only concern was lack of tracking information- but I think 'Relay' who were the delivery company sat on it for a few days , after saying they had it. I suspect they wanted me to agree I collect it at a shop. My grandaughter is thrilled with hers- it's so sophisticated compared tobtge old slow one she had!. A CD player from Smileboxy is nowvon my list- again coming tops for value and quality.

Product is low-quality, not top-of-the-line, as a online"review" stated. It's basically a scam. Too much hassle return. I would recommend cancelling your credit card

Absolute garbage. Not a single redeeming feature.

I bought a brand new Smileboxy Portable Ebook Readers, and it is frozen. So far no response from the company. After reading the reviews that are aleady here, it appears contacting this company is useless, with a return policy that puts all the return costs on the customer, and that is shipping it to Hong Kong China. This company appears to be a total scam.

Rubbish CD Player even worse company to deal with. The player did not hold its charge for more than one hour so can only be used if plugged into the mains. My complaint to this company resulted in a final offer of £15 off the price I paid if I kept the player which I accepted otherwise there were non specific handling and return charges to be paid so I cut my losses and concluded matters. Lesson learned avoid this company at all costs!

I agree with other reviewers about Smileboxy. I just paid about $150 for a crappy portable CD player with terrible sound and bluetooth connection that doesn't seem to work. I should have simply clicked once on Amazon and I would have found a dozen better products for one third the price. Then when I tried to return it they said they'd either reimburse me 10% and let me keep it, or they'd send me an address to return it for full reimbursement. Well, that turned out to be an address in China with $45 dollar postage and a 15% "handling fee." Stay away from this company.

This company is a complete and utter rip off. The birdscarer they sell for over $200 nz is on buy direct for $29.90 looks the same. Then it doesn't work and leaks. Then they offer you a 5% refund after wanting photos and all types of other evidence. The most amount I could get out of them was 40%. If you sent it back they want to charge for there shipping your return shipping and 15% handling fee for their product that doesn't work. Rip off stay away.
