My custom order was fine but I ordered some signs off the shelf and ended up not needing them. I requested an RMA and was told that they charge 25% restocking and then I had to ship the item back via UPS or FedEx even though I live not far from their location. 25% restocking was already ridiculous. Whoever heard of such a rip off. I frequently order online and these types of policies are way outdated. There are better other choices out there.

In November of 2023, I ordered 2 custom metal signs through "Road Traffic Signs; a Smart Signs store." The signs were mounted on fence posts in a sunny park. The design on both signs peeled off some time in 2024... I forget when exactly, but either way, these signs lasted less than 2 years, which is well below the average lifespan of a sign. These were allegedly road signs; they should have been able to withstand UV exposure, especially since I didn't seen any other signs around town falling to pieces. That said, unlike the other reviewers, I don't remember any issues with customer service or the ordering process, just the final product.

One corner of the plaque on the back was either chipped before finishing or the mold was not topped off, because one corner is thinner and rough from the back. It is pretty obvious, so we will hang it above the garage door where it will not be as visible, instead of near the mailbox where it could be noticed.

Ordered a sign, gave a description of where and how it was to be used. After a week (about the time I should have been receiving it per original order form) received email that they wanted to notifiy me it was a non-reflective sign and that they had not done anything yet. I called on phone and gave description again about what material I was looking for-- they seem very confused. Thought it was best to just cancel order. Neither person ( I talked to 2) seemed very knowledgeable or helpful-- or even willing to try to get this order done.

The sign turned out to be a very good quality and exactly what I asked for. They were a little slow in producing it but not terrible. I know from other reviews that many people have had a bad experience with this company but mine was a good one.

I ordered two 24x36 signs, and a 24x48 sidewalk sign package (2 signs plus frame). First delivery contained 2 copies of each of the 24x36 signs, otherwise ok. And it contained the two 24x48 signs, but they were the same image - supposed to be two different images. Customer service was very helpful in getting the correct sign sent out - the correct image this time, but 24x36! Again, customer service was good about getting replacement sign sent out. This 3rd time, received two 24x48 signs that were both the same image as the first shipment. I gave up, got a refund for the one sign and ordered one locally- got it right first time and in 2 days, though more money. So, customer service was responsive and helpful, but the production department seemed to excel in finding new ways to screw up the order. Nice frame though. Would NOT recommend.
