This review is really both for SmartSign and Amazon. I will not go into detail about the reason I needed a sign. I will just say that a totally incompetent person came to mow my lawn and mulched it instead. I was then tasked with trying to bring back grass, weeds, anything to stop the mud and soil erosion. I went to Amazon and looked at tons of signs and read tons of reviews on each sign I considered. I ended up choosing a sign from SmartSign. They have a quality control issue. First sign arrived not fully coated with the protective coating. I immediately notified Amazon with photos and ordered a replacement. Second sign arrived with the same problem. Both were returned. I spoke to no less than 35 different agents at Amazon before I FINALLY received a $14.01 refund more than a week after they received the signs, processed the return, and marked it as "return complete." During all of this I contacted SmartSign and told them the whole story. He replied, "I can offer you a 15% discount on another sign." I was stunned. Why would I want another sign after receiving two defective ones? I told him he could offer me a 75% discount, and I still would not buy another on of their signs. They have quality control issues that they simply are unwilling to remedy, and what I went through with them and Amazon to be refunded a measly $14.01 was surreal. After this experience, I no longer trust Amazon and its vendors, and within the next few months, I intend to close my Prime account and likely close my entire account. NO CUSTOMER should have to go through the aggravation I went through to receive a $14.01 refund for two defective signs. I do not recommend Amazon, and I do not recommend SmartSign.

Numerous emails, calls to get a quote for a sign. No response at all. Guess they do not need the business. I needed 50 custom signs ordered.

I ordered two address signs for my mailbox I received them on time but the numbers were all crooked. I called and explained the situation they said they could see that the numbers were crooked. He told me there is no refund for this product and if I wanted different ones I would have to reorder. They were no help at all with the situation.

I have purchased several items from this company, and today when I called to make a payment on an order, the service was unprofessional and patronizing. I spoke to Nathan, who did not appear to be trained at taking payments over the phone. As a result, I felt uncomfortable. When I asked to speak with the manager, Stephanie, she was suddenly unavailable. In fact, when I asked to speak to ANYONE in charge, I was told that all of the managers were out for the day. I have never felt so devalued as a customer in my life. This company boosts about their professionalism and customer satisfaction. Do not believe it! You cannot get a manager on the phone if you have an issue. They devalue repeat customers, and their customer service representatives are patronizing, argumentative, and unprofessional. Take your business some place else! One final note. Since no managers were available to take my call, I was told that a manager would call me back within 24 to 48 hours. No one ever did!

Garbage sign shipped without protection in a bubble mailer. It arrived bent. Could have at least put a piece of cardboard around it. Lazy and unprofessional.

I ordered a driveway sign for my rural property, and because my location is difficult to find, I ordered an arrow on a double-sided sign. The sign arrived, and if you're coming from the north, it's perfect. If you're coming from the south, however, the sign tells you that my property is across the road. Not one person IN A COMPANY THAT MAKES SIGNS FOR A LIVING thought "Gee, if we don't flip one of the arrows, this sign will tell people the address is on both sides of the road. I called to tell SmartSign and was told that the best they could do was to give me half off a new sign, and it's my fault anyway. I asked the salesman point blank, "So, you want me to pay for your mistake?" He agreed that yes, I need to do that. I want them to make a new sign for me since they didn't catch the problem. Failing that, the least they could do is change their company name to StupidSign, which is far more accurate.

Nope. Horrible customer service and the products they sell are just complete JUNK. Do not trust them.

I order a stamp (Order# SMT-955927) When i try to use it it was only printing horizontal lines. I sent an e-mail to custumer service and the response was to wipe clean the stamp, what I did, not having any fix to the printing. I e-mailed the again and the response was that the font that I picked was to small and to solve this problem I will need to buy a new stamp. After the responseI e-mailed them again and they offer me a 10% discount on a new product. I did find that very disrespecful becouse I am not in the stamp bussines, if the font size that I order was to small SmartSing should advice me before sending me a total useless product.
