I had an appointment and parked in the designated parking area. Didn’t even see any signs. No payment machines in the car park. Got fine through the post, appealed it. Appeal unsuccessful (but of course!!!). This company is not about fairness, it’s a money making exercise. All companies that use them should be ashamed. I put 1 star as there was no availability of -10.

Appalling disgrace of a company. Automated replies 28 days after submitting communication do not address concerns.

SmartParking are a piece of work. They incorrectly issued me with a parking ticket, I appealed it with all the necessary evidence, they rejected my first appeal saying that after a thorough investigation they were upholding the fine. Blatant lie. More work, I appealed again through IAS. Finally, response is ‘operator conceded this appeal, due to client request’. No SmartParking, you got it wrong in the first place and you haven’t even got the decency to apologise.

I paid via card at the ticket machine, but the machine didn't issue a ticket. So I checked my account to see if the payment of £7.50 had come out, which it had. Several weeks later I was issued with a parking charge, which I disputed. I got in touch with my bank who confirmed that the amount of £7.50 had indeed been paid on my part, but Smart Parking hadn't taken the payment their end & was showing as pending in my account. My bank have stated they have 120 days to take this payment of which I have informed them of. I am on appeal number three & they are still wanting, of course, a £60 fine!!! Absolute cowboys!!!

I got a ticket when I entered an extremely busy car park, I did not even find a space for over 30 minutes. I did buy a ticket when I parked but despite appealing I was declined. It's a shame your business is built around money grabbing and not about service. This makes me feel that if I know a company that uses your services, I simply will not use that company

This company are daylight robbers we parked on one of there car parks at a hotel and paid for 3 nights parking .. we were told we could come and go as we pleased which we left the car park once during our stay .. we registerd our car at reception but the was suprised we received a ticket a few days after we left. We sent proof of payment etc and appealed .. it was turned down We appealed again got the hotel to confirm our payment sent it all again and still got turned down .. ROBBERS how can this be right !!!!!!! Avoid them at all costs I would never use their car parks again .. No phone number to contact anyone … absolutely disgraceful company

I’ve had visited there parking in Ammanford twice paid full price and still got fined.. there an absolute joke £2 a time has cost me £170 for each fine be aware people

I would not even rate this parking company a one star if i didn’t have to. This is daylight robbery. I went into macdonalds to eat and have my breakfast and now been charged with a £60 parking fine. I ave no way to appeal as it doesn’t come up on the website, therefore the time is ticking down. There needs to be strict laws created for these parking companies they are disgusting. I wasn’t even there for 90 minutes which usually the set time and i have been sent a ticket. I also feel places like macdonalds shouldn’t have these parking companies on their sites. They are just as bad for taking part in this. This was the macdonalds in Harlington avoid at all costs
