Can’t give minus or no stars received demand for £100 fine for none purchase of ticket after appealing sending phots of bank statement showing money going out still not satisfied they say I made an error whilst putting in the vrm as if do I appeal again and lose the reduction in fine or just pay it?? Please be aware of these cowboys you can’t even call them to speak with them every time I have to use the car park I shall be taking a pic of the ticket to make sure I have the evidence to shove it where the sun don’t shine

I booked parking from 11am and when I arrived at 4pm I was told I should have arrived at 11am. If I still wanted parking I had to pay £150 (and that was a discount from £200!). I drove off and parked at the airport for £112.

A completely predatory operation. We received a £60 parking charge for a 12-minute stop, in a car park with inadequate signage. Over the following year, this escalated into a barrage of threatening letters to my elderly mum and inflated charges, reaching £170. Absolutely disgusting company. Practices like this erode public trust and should be far more tightly regulated.

Received a parking fine despite the payment app being out of order. Appeal refused despite providing a date marked screenshot of the payment app erroring. Since received two debt collection letters threatening court action. I have been emailing Smart Parking, again providing proof that I could not physically pay, and received no response from Smart Parking, just another debt collection letter! What should have been a £1.20 car park charge, is now a £170 fine! Ridiculous.

I'm stunned this company is allowed to operate. Despite being a legitimate company, their mode of operating is unlawful. I've just had my elderly mum wanting me to help her pay a fine, but unable to do so. She thought it was her being old, but it wasn't. There is no right of reply. It's set up like that on purpose to extort the maximum penalty from drivers. SmartPark Parking clearly want you to pay the full amount (£100) and indeed, they go to great lengths to ensure you are unable to meet the early payment deadline (to reduce it to £60) - from posting the fine letter late, to the convenient glitch when trying to pay online (try again tomorrow, the message says, guaranteeing you edge out of the early payment window). For 7p a minute, a telephone number instructs you to enter in your credit card number, only for the line to go dead. So Mum has taken option 3 - paid for tracked delivery to be delivered before the end of the early deadline. I hope this will be the end of it. Who knows. What's sad is that they are allowed to operate like this. This is how they get their money.

Over a year ago , we payed for an All day parking ticket on a day out to Brean , to this day , they are still phoning me up asking for the fee of 170.00. Even though on the parking site we payed for a full day ticket and we still have the ticket with us to this day. This company has misleading signs on there car parks, the sign was on the floor when we came and paid for our ticket , but a week later they added a completely new sign with different prices. What a scam. Anyone else also facing this issue ?

If I could give no star that would be appropriate. I never could talk to a person and it took forever to find out how to pay so I wouldn't have to deal with a debt collector. The information on the ticket I got in the mail was useless. I added the information I was given and every time it came back invalid. To top it all I did pay or at least I thought it went through. So I paid the $53.00 which is also a rip off. I will never use Smart Parking again. Maybe if I get reimbursed my $53.00 I will. Sincerely,Steve Kerns

Hallo, ich habe sicherheitshalber meine Strafe von 48€ bezahlt, da mein Einspruch nicht bestätigt wurde. Der Einspruch wurde angenommen, mir wurde jetzt seit mehreren Wochen bestätigt, dass die Zahlung zurück erstattet wird. Von der Rückzahlung ist bis heute nichts angekommen… Danke für die Verarschung… Ihr seid ein tolles Team 😘
