one star is too generous. I went to Newquay for a friends funeral. During my stay I had to Park on Newquy Fore Street carpark. i used the car park for an hour and paid accordingly. I got home to be greeted with a fine and no direct way to appeal. The website offers an 'appeal button' to begin the appeal process, but this doesnt work. The email eventually gets a response, where they refer you to the 'appeal button' on there site. There is also no telephone number, making it impossible to speak too a real person. Ill not be giving into this as it is blatant exploitation and an underhanded way of raising their profit margins! there are so many bad reviews for this company, and the Fore Street car park in particular. Do yourself a favour and use public transport - at least you expect to pay for that and there are no hidden costs!

Beware of this fraudulent company, they love to rip people off

What a wholey unethical company... Paid for 3 hours parking, stayed 1 hour 50 mins. Received a parking charge which I challenged, sending them a copy of my credit card payment. Heard nothing from them. 8 weeks later have received a letter from a debt collection agency demanding £170! How can companies like this get away with such behaviour? I have reported them to the British Parking Association and would urge others to do the same.

Awful, parked a heybridge basin. The carpark used to be free. There is NO or little signage to say they are now charging. We received a parking fine and upon payment we were not given a Reference number, this company seems so dodgy please avoid parking in one of there car parks the thieving scum.

Absolutely awful company. Parked in Newquay during Board Masters so took a moment to find a space. Then had to wander around the car park for five minutes to get a signal so I could buy on overpriced parking ticket. Then got a £60 fine which I appealed against with perfectly valid reasons which was immediately dismissed without any form of humanity from them. Charging £60 for going 4 minutes over the 2-hour ticket I bought in good faith is utterly criminal. In the economic climate today, I don't know how these people sleep at night!

Scammers. If you buy a valid ticket and still have it in your possession you'll still get fined. The initial letter doesn't state the exact reason for the fine, the phone will not provide you with reasons for the fine and they demand payment regardless. You're then faced with the 14 day bribe or the price goes up to deter people from appealing. They also do not participate in the independent review process. Avoid any car park that uses these people and boycott any business that contracts to these cowboys. At best you'll spend weeks of your time trying to get an invalid ticket overturned.

Utter shambles of a company. Parked at the Spreadeagle pub, Chorlton where I go every week for a club night in their basement. Got a parking charge. Sent them my bank receipt showing two payments to the pub that night. They refused to accept this and said I'd not entered details correctly. To quote their letter "By law we are also required to inform you that Ombudsman Services provides an alternative dispute resolution service that would be competent to deal with your enquiry. However we have not chosen to participate in their alternative dispute resolution." This is a firm who have refused to take part in the ombudsman's scheme. Let that sink in.

Absolutely disgraceful I appealed and lost sent a cheque for the original £60 of which was still in place and they have sent it back asking for £100 now I am disabled and they pray on vulnerable people and those who are genuine they are a bunch of ….. I am taking this further as I cannot afford this amount of money being on my own as well I hope they sleep well at night with how they take people money etc
