called and emailed after receiving order for product that was awful. no response. does anyone work in customer service there?

I placed my order nearly a week ago and still nothing has even shipped out yet. They did, however, debit the money from my bank account on day 1. I tried to 'chat' with them thru the website yesterday and received a message saying they usually respond within a couple of hours.....I've heard nothing. Then I emailed them today to find out about shipping time....still crickets. I've always gotten their product straight from the Smart 4 Life office near me. This is the first time I'm attempting mail order. So far.....not impressed.

So disappointed.There is flavor but the cookie even after microwaving was crumbly and dry. Flavored cardboard. Seriously, I couldn't swallow them and I wanted to so much. Also I ordered a different flavor than was sent to me. I called customer service within the 3 day time limit to return my 3 week order ($129.00) and was told it would be $75 restocking fee plus shipping (heavy box) to return because of the expiration date. It took a week and a half to receive the cookies and I could not find an expiration date on the cookies. Bottom line is that that I question the positive reviews I relied on about these cookies. Buyer beware. I will not be returning the cookies as there will not be enough money saved to bother. I really wanted this to work but have lost $129.00 in the process.

I ordere on the 22nd of March, I called today on the 26th of March and the order had not been sent. Apparently one of the items ordered was out of stock so they didn't send the entire order. I was not made aware of this. I was hung ho to star the diet but apparently it takes 8 to 10 days to get your order. This is the age of amazon, I can get things the same day or next day, but not with our company. I asked today for expedited shipping which they agreed to so now my order will be arriving 8 days after I ordered. This is totally unacceptable. I am done with smart for life before I ever begin. Your company is the worst at customer relations.

Steven, when you contacted us yesterday we recognized there was a shipping delay in the order but they were available to ship that day. Not only did we reimburse you the full amount for the delayed product($29.99) but we paid additional shipping fees to expedite the order. We acknowledged that in the future we needed to do better with notifications of out of stock products and credited an additional $10 in store credit to your account. We apologize that your experience wasn't what you expected but we did everything in our protocol and MORE to rectify the situation for you. I hope you understand that $40 worth of refunds and the additional cost we incurred we believed to be more than adequate to rectify the situation. To say we are the worst at customer relations(when we have an almost 5 star rating from hundreds of customers) is a little unfair given the lengths we went to to rectify your situation.

I placed an order on 2/14/18 and as of 2/22/18 it is still "awaiting fulfillment". Emails and phone calls have not been returned. It is disconcerting since they have taken my money already.

Hello, UPS is showing shipment is on vehicle for delivery to your door today. We apologize for the shipment delay but we are South Florida based. Our bakery incurred significant flooding due to Hurricane Irma and we all worked as hard as possible to get up and running as fast as possible.
