I have called several times to have someone acknowledge the holes that were in the side of the box that were left open where screws once were. During the rainy weather I had to buy bolts and nuts from a hardware store to plug the holes to keep my belongings from getting wet. I still haven't heard back from Smart box and the box was dropped of at the end of last month.

Two of my 4 boxes leaked. When I followed up with the Fort Lauderdale Smartbox company they said they would get back to me... they didn't. Two calls and two emails and still no one will call me back.

This company SUBS out all services and will not tell you up front. They will not accept responsibility for any mishaps during the process of moving your possessions. Once your credit card is charged UPFRONT - all communication ends and their Customer Service is non existent. They cannot meet their own deadlines in their contracts and will argue with you about their many operational and customer services issues without accepting any responsibility for their set expectations. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.
