Moving south means you need fans. I asked my daughter (who lives in the south) what to look for in a fan. She said the most important characteristic to look for in a fan is that it's QUIET. I did some research and found that DC, versus AC, fans are the quietest. I found these from SMAFAN.com. Bought one for each bedroom. I love the looks, but even more, i love that I can't hear them!

I ordered two fans which were held up due to the container ship issues, but smafan kept in contact to let me know where the fans were in the shipping queue, which was appreciated.
