Very non customer oriented owner
Had a quality issue and needed to swap a backup battery unit. The owner and his supplier were totally against exchanging the bad electrical component. They wanted us to open the electrical box and swap battery and wires for them? When challenged to do what is right instead, the owner starts screaming and using profanity and said he bet I was a unemployed poor loser. Then just before I hung up in his ear he said he was super wealthy and would sue me if I complained publically. The owner has serious mental issues I’m only guessing but this company is not what we expected for customer service. Claims lifetime in the field service and this is how my elderly parents are treated. I’ll swear in court and on the bible this happened exactly as I’ve stated.

100% Lies. We delivered and installed a made to order custom hospital bed in July 2026 for Mr Hollingshead. It was a 10/10 experience for the customer. This bed was ordered with an optional emergency extended UPC battery backup in case of extended power failure in Austin TX (which never happens in Austin). In Early September our customer service team all of a sudden starts getting these vile phone calls from Mr Hollingshead. This piece of crap battery backup doesn't work and I want my $500 back by the end of the day or I will go to every social media outlet and write bad reviews. Now, this is the first time we were ever alerted to this and at this point he has had the bed 2 months. So, we simply tell him we want to troubleshoot and diagnose this over the phone with the factory and he tells our team he will not lift a finger to help us troubleshoot the UPC box over the phone or allow us come out to investigate. We just need to make sure it's indeed not working so we can swap it, but our inkling was that the battery backup box was indeed working based on his behavior. I get involved and we had a very calm conversation where he tells me I will not lift a finger to help you guys diagnose this box. I just want my money back. I told him sure no problem as long as we can confirm the UPC backup box is indeed not working. he said he doesn't want anyone calling him from our company or the factory to troubleshoot this box because he already knows it has failed and it's completely dead, so don't call me or I will hang up. So I play along with this insanity and tell him well here is the tech support line at the factory and please just dial the number and we will confirm the box is dead and then refund your money, because if we send a perfectly working UPC box back to the factory (after they have diagnosed it to be working perfectly) under the auspices of "under warranty" and install a new replacement one, we'll get charged twice by the factory. 2 weeks go by and the factory tech support team has indicated they have been in contact with Mr Hollingshead but but he has been incredibly abusive over the phone indicting he will not send any photos or video as requested. At some point he sends a photo to the tech team and they quickly identify a loose cable in the photo and simply ask him to push it in until it clicks. He says he will not push in the cable or help us determine 100% if that will fire the box up. Ok, we will come out push in the cable to ensure it's properly seated. NO! i want my money back. Then he starts emailing the entire team threatening and harassing us about leaving bad reviews everywhere if he doesn't get his money back. So lets get this straight. he wont allow us to to troubleshoot or diagnose but then the support tech sherlock holmes sleuths spot a loose cable in the photo which we know will confidently fire it up and he won't lift his finger and push the cable in til it clicks. We have reached the point of insanity with Mr Hollingshead with his threats and daily harassment. Are we upset? Beyond. He is just making up a story to extort $500 from us which doesn't sound like alot but we will not be extorted for even $5 or even .50 cents and no company should allow an unhinged person to hijack them like this over nothing and particularly over a UPC battery backup that most likely will never be used during the life usage of the hospital bed which makes this story even more insane.
