Great stuff
Used 5 gallons of Tough Grip Extreme on some outdoor wooden bridges that have chronic issues with slipperiness that have led to injuries. First time using it did not have great results. I ended up calling Slip Doctors and had a great discussion about how to apply. The key for me was to pour the paint on to the decking and then use the roller to roll it out. I also cut down the roller to the width of the deck boards I was painting which helped avoid issues when an adjacent board wasn't exactly level. I also find it easier to work with about 1/3 of a gallon of a time for ease of pouring on the deck. Once you had the crosslinker the clock is ticking on the pot life of your paint so doing 1/3 of a gallon batches at a time makes the paint much more rollable. Since I'm doing a deck with a lot of slats having a bit more application time is key. If I were painting a concrete floor or something with a continuous surface area, pot time for a whole gallon wouldn't be a problem. I got about 80 square feet per gallon. It's a bit less than what's stated on the can but the decking has a rougher service with some divots and grooves. Only drawback is that the paint cans got dented during shipping which made it a bit more difficult to mix and get as much of the product out as possible.
