I've been through several generations of these headphones for sleeping in. I was quite excited wireless model debuted, but it had several design flaws that relegated them to storage with old computer in the garage. I was again excited to learn of the Effortless model, as it would make charging much easier than the wireless model as one no longer would need to open up the headband to recharge (as was required on the wireless model, disturbing the placement of the flat speaker drivers at a time - just before sleep - when aggravation is least desired). Now with the Effortless model that is no longer the case. But, they could not have made the wireless charging any more poorly designed. For example, the LED that indicates charging state is located in the worst place to be visible while charging. At least one is not going through this before sleep, but it is unacceptable in a product costing well over $100 US. Next version please redesign the charging base to make the LED easily visible.

I love sleepPhones. I have been using them for at least four years I think. (I use the corded sleep phones) I actually always make sure I have a spare set on hand. Which is why I did not give a better rating. I have found that typically something goes wrong with the cord (I think), and the "speaker" stops working (usually just one of the speakers). But I have always made sure that I have a working set ready to go if a problem occurs. I appreciate that the speakers can be purchased separately, at a lower cost than the whole product.

Purchased the wireless SleepPhones Effortless model. Sound quality good and comfortable to wear at night, even as a side sleeper. Turned out I was in between sizes and the purchased SleepPhones with a Breeze headband ended up a bit tight. Contacted the company and got an immediate response allowing me an exchange for a larger size headband. I opted for a larger Fleece headband. I received back the exchange I requested and in addition a RunPhones headband same size as the previous that was more elastic than the original fleece headband I ordered. In the end, both were an improvement over my original headband, but the larger Fleece headband worked out better at least for me and fits perfectly. I was very impressed with the promptness and quality of customer service provided.

I bought the Extra Large size hoping it would fit loosely comfortable. It's still a little too tight. If they ever offer a Jumbo size, I take that. Other than that, they are excellent.

This is a great product, but I recommend the wireless charging version instead. It's very annoying having to charge this product.

I wish I'd found these years ago! I am a side sleeper and my boyfriend snores and FINALLY I have found comfortable headphones that don't hurt my ears and block out his snoring. They are worth every penny!

I've been using them for about five years now. Absolute best investment I've made in my sleep.
