I visited Skin Spa in flatiron on 12/20/15 for a customized facial and had overall an "ok" experience. Pros - The facialist was gentle during extractions after I told her that I had very sensitive skin Cons - 1. I was taken to the room 10 min late and was not offered an apology or an extension of time for my facial. My facial was only 40 min long, instead of 50 that was advertised. Everything was rushed because the facialist was running late. 2. The facial was supposed to be "customized" , but was clearly not. There was a form that I had filled out on my very first visit, but that was for a massage and irrelevant. Apparently they do not pay attention to what the customer writes down. The facialist did not review the conditions of my skin and what it needed. Instead of my skin glowing and feeling moisturized after the session, it felt very dry. The manager offered a 30 dollar credit in response to my review, but I don't think I will be going back.

I had a good facial Cleaning. Good for skin maintence If you are wanting the luxe facial not the place.

The facilities in the Fashion District were okay -- I settled for that location because Soho and Chelsea were completely booked. I was a little bummed out when my massage therapist had awful body odor. It was so bad the stench stayed in the room after he had left. I feel bad writing this but it was definitely a factor in me deciding to not come to this location again.

I had better service in other spas around the city.

The place was very nice and the Treat meant was very good. But the GUY first at the front desk was very rude and was talking about the lady that walked out in front of me after she paid... "He said I hope your a better tipper then she is, she tipped only 17% and then he laughed. I thought it was tacky and in pour taste, and I probably won't go back to the Broadway location again.

I went in just to pick up a product I had on hold. The girl didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. I was in a rush and she was slow at the register. It was a little frustrating.
