The rating concerns only my latest visit. In general I am very satisfied with the treatment and the services provided. On my way back home after my last visit I noticed that there was an area that was not treated, and hair was still visible. Minding the fact that I had to catch a flight the same day and could not go back, I called the front desk, explained the situation and asked if I could go back to treat the missed area after one week. The lady at the front desk was very rude and was questioning my sayings. Being a 2 year costumer I was not expecting such attitude.

The facial was neither relaxing nor therapeutic. The aesthetician was rushed and unfocused. I broke out worse than I was before the facial. I understand it's a "Groupon" quality facial but it was not even worth the $50. Would not recommend to a friend.

Skin spa customer service reps should learn how to properly treat customers

I came for my complimentary massage due to a poor experience the first time, and got the complete opposite of a relaxing massage. My massage therapist was the worst. Not enough lotion, no oil. Massage was dry and a lot of friction rubbing. Massaging with literally his finger on upper back to relieve stress points. Absolutely no pleasure at All! Next day felt like I had bruises on my back, pain and discomfort in my upper back. room was humid and the rooms located in weirded setting . Waited next to stairs to give me room temperature half filled glass of water. Just wanted to run out of there! Do not recommend. Never again. Not even for a complimentary service. Horrible!!!!!!!!!!! Do not recommend

I went to the flatiron location, and have been going to skin spa's throughout the city in preparation for my upcoming wedding to hopefully have radiant skin. On my checkout I was swindled into purchasing a package. Leaving the room i was about 75% sure I wanted to purchase the package, but wanted to sleep on it. When i was checking out the girl told me she would give me a deal if i bought the package that day as prices had changed but she could honor them for me if i bought it then. I should've realized it was a scam at that point, but i bought it thinking i was getting a deal. After leaving i went online to read a bit more and realized there was NO PRICE CHANGE! What was offered to me as a "deal" was exact same prices that were on the website. I was so frustrated that i tried to get a refund for the package, but they wouldn't allow it. Needless to say I WILL NOT COME BACK after i use my package up. Such a scam, and i feel that as a customer i deserve better than that.

Had the detox facial with oxygen. Estatisian was nice., but the facial turned out to be a nightmare. Left the spa feeling ok, but hot home and eyes sterted to swell. Next morning I looked lije a blowfish and had to go to the doctor. Very red like I was burned and seollen. On steroids and benadryl from doc. Horrible. Never going back to this place. Beware!

It was an super mediocre experience. The woman who did my facial was super rude and basically insulted me for never having gotten a facial before and having clogged skin. She tried to get me to buy a microderm abrasion on top of the facial. I told her I didn't have the money, she scoffed and kept insisting. It's not fun to be insulted. After all that the girl at the register said that a 20% tip on the ORIGINAL price was EXPECTED. Pretty sure that's not how tipping works...

I was talked out of my original booking procedures. I was not at all happy with the results. When I looked m the mirror after I sti saw several blackheads not removed during extraction.
