I went to Skin Spa in SoHo to get a full Brazilian wax. It was my first visit and shortly after starting, the esthetician skipped the small talk and went straight to discussing laser hair removal. She went on to tell me about the different packages they offer, etc. Her first concern should have been with my comfort during my first visit. The sales pitch would have been appropriate after she finished my wax session.

The aesthetician was polite, but my skin was burning for much of the session, and ended up being much drier than when I first walked in. Could have been much better for the price.

Dear Head Quarter: Unfortunately it was my husbands first experience and like I mentioned to him you are going to be a white robe relax and enjoy. It didn't happened we sat there and waiting to be call similar when they call you for a Dr. app, well I went directly to the room take my clothes off and after the message get ready to change and go to the other room I did have 40 minutes message not 50 and as soon he finished and have to get up go to facial room and change one more time Taking my top off again and go for my facial which Elizabeth which she was very very nice. My husband in the other side take his top off for facial when he finished needed took take clothes off again at the message room so it was very uncomfortable. Overall it was ok, I did asked on of the ladies what happened with the robes so I could feel in a Spa and have the experience to relax more like other times well,,, she said I have one in the closet if you want, I'm sorry. That was all. I did missed the nice boy as a receptionist. I do think I have to have a really good offer to come back again. thank you.!!!

My experience felt like a doctors visit more then a spa, Very rushed, facial was done in less then 20 minutes, I paid for 50 minutes and aromatherapy, I got neither. Although the esthetician was very informative about skin.

1) Reception staff can be incredibly rude 2) If tipping is a culture, in today's day and age forcing the consumer to carry cash OR pay an ATM fee is simply too much friction 3) Scheduling is always difficult and there is hardly any understanding for working professionals 4) I've had 2 instances where it was scheduled and the reminder sent to the wrong email. Then I was blamed for coming at the wrong time (which was clearly a mis communication).

My wife experienced a bad reaction to their facial treatment. That has ruined our 10 yrs anniversary. But, in all fairness, the branch manager was very professional and offered her support and handled the situation extremely well!

We called to make an appt telling receptionist we were using groupings. 4 sisters on a spa day in ny and we do this often. My facial was good ( not much to compare to since it was my first ) but my sisters were disappointed with time. Advertised 50 minute facials on average the 4 of us were 30 minutes and little massage

Microdermabrasion with Simone She rushed my service I felt she did not do a thorough job with the actual exfoliation She talked a bit much My skin did not really look improved as compared to my experience going to another spa. It was a very mediocre experience. It was $50 per month n dammed sure felt just that cheap. Underwhelmingly tacky
