Solid overall experience. Our representative Mike was quick with providing and revising a quote for a move which took place a day later on a Sunday afternoon. We needed a Certificate of Insurance, as per our building owner's request, and Simply Moving provided it easily and directly to our building's management. Johnny and a helper arrived on time, as scheduled, and completed the first half of the move themselves. They were extremely energetic and performed well, considering we were leaving a 5th floor walk up on the hottest day of the year so far. A third helper arrived in time to assist with the second half of the move which sped things up tremendously. They wrapped all the furniture and were willing to do anything additional we asked. Marian followed up the next day with a feedback email as well. No issues. Thanks again!

I had a job of picking up a very heavy object that other moving companies refused to help me with. Simply moving came and was able to help me out and I couldn't be more thankful that this was finally complete. My only issue was they were aware of the capacity of the job and only brought two men. The upside was, my place of business was close to the company headquarters and they were able to have extra hands out very quickly. Overall the whole team was very helpful, courteous and hardworking. I would definitely recommend Simply Moving to everyone.

Everything went as planned. I paid $350 for moving out, some $150 for storage for 2 weeks and $350 for moving in. This was amongst the cheapest prices you can find in Manhattan. The movers were quick. The first movers were a little aggressive and had issues whenever I asked questions or asked him to be careful and then asked for a $100 tip. However, Simply Moving was very nice about this and when I'd only politely informed them this (they ask to talk you after your move), they refunded it completely. I also got a $50 Yelp discount. The second move was quick and perfect. I am very pleased with the service and would definitely use them a second time.

I would likely use Simply Moving again for the reasonably priced service. There were 3 movers and 2 of them were super polite and did things like ask to use the restroom and call me ma'am. The 3rd guy though plugged in his phone to charge it without asking and then proceeded to get numerous phone calls. When his phone rang, the ring tone had curse words and it was simply unpleasant. Additionally his alarm on his phone went off, and if it wasn't for me turning it off, it would have continued to go off until he came back into the apartment from the truck. Additionally, this same gentleman got into a bit of an argument with one of the maintenance men in my building for blocking up the hallway. All in all though, I am not going to rate this company poorly due to one bad seed. All my belongings were moved out efficiently and the price was perfect for my pocket. The scheduling was easy and the prices are fair.

The moving guys were very efficient and careful with my stuff. They came on time and quickly dissembled my furniture, wrapped it carefully, and loaded it. My furniture was completely fine when it got to my new apartment. The only issue was a mix-up about charging for extra things which was quickly cleared up by the company. Thanks Simply Moving!
