Here's a tip from a potential customer: Improve your filter options because a lot of people (like me) are not willing to wade through hundreds or thousands of options due to lack of needed filters. Most sites have filters for frame color and frame style which helps to narrow options in a helpful way. I used every filter you offer and then when it pulled up too many pages I moved on to a different site. Hi Chris, Thanks for the response! I was a little frustrated because after using all offered filters it still pulled up 1584 results...which I would not have the patience nor time to wade through. For example, I'm only interested in frames with a full rim yet just from looking at a few pages of the 1584 results I could already see that many weren't a full rim nor colors I would buy.

The glasses received were not cut/polished satisfactorily.

Finally received eyeglass frames after a year wait. Wasn't the fault of Simply Eyeglasses it was the fault of the manufacturer. The customer service people were very helpful and understanding when I was inpatient with the wait. Beautiful frames that fit and looked great.

Had to make two follow up calls to find out what was happening with my order. The people I talked to were very nice and helpful, but if they had just sent me emails to let me know my frames were on back-order, or if the web page could let you know before buying that there would be some wait time, it would have saved me a lot of concern. After about a month, they did finally arrive, but for much of that time I was worried I'd been conned. The frames I received are fine, so SE just needs work on the communication.

I bought two sets of prescription glasses (sunglasses and "inside" glasses)...both included progressive prescriptions. I have about 5 years of history with SimplyEyeglasses with multiple purchases. I am very satisfied with their selection of rims and the quality of the finished product. However, I am less than satisfied with the timeliness of delivery. My last order took over a month to complete and my previous orders averaged 3 to 4 weeks per order. The web site is deficient in providing order status/progress updates between the initial order and shipping. To the positive, customer relations is generally responsive and engaging however it appears the business model response for delayed deliveries is to blame it on the prescription manufacturer (apparently subcontracted). To be honest, I hold SimpleEyeglasses responsible for the entire process end-to-end and have been disappointed with the deflection on orders gone bad (my last 3). I believe a revamped tracking system (a lot like Domino's pizza making tracker) would go a long way in mitigating this problem. I want to like SimplyEyeglasses but they really need to work on their subcontractor relationships and tracking platform...absent an improvement in these two areas I am likely to research other options going forward.
