I used to buy my glasses from WalMart. I liked the optometrist but I kept trying to make the glasses work that were made by a separate company in a section next door inside WalMart. I kept thinking my eyes were changing or I needed to bend the frames etc. etc. I got fed up and spent some time online. SimplyEyeglasses.com has a good policy if your glasses need to be redone. All the lenses were much clearer than the WalMart by a long shot. I ordered single lens computer, single lens distance, and progressives for distance and computer. I DIDN'T HAVE THAT NAUSEOUS FEELING YOU GET FROM CHEAP PROGRESSIVES. What a difference! My first pair from an optometrist (Since retired) were great and I remember when he said I should get the "better " ones because there are fewer complaints. Now I know what he means after going to WalMart(Yuk) compared to SimplyEyeglasses(Yay!) after he retired. If I hadn't gotten the good quality progressives the first time around, I probably wouldn't have continued with them at all. The website was very helpful in explaining things and the phone help was very good also. They will definitely help you enter your prescription correctly. This was my first time around, so I figure there's a learning curve. Since the glasses were so good. I'm glad I spent the time. Should be be a snap next time. Also, I like cables and when I would go to a place that sold temple cables, there weren't any and then they would try and convince me to buy something else. SimplyEyeglasses has an incredible selection, including temple cables. Definitely ordering my next lenses at SimplyEyeglasses again.

The service and telephone support are great. The variety of available eye glass frames is excellent and the finished product is superb. End result, I purchased an excellent pair of eyeglasses that was $250 - $300 cheaper than what the closest chain store has to offer. I am so pleased that I just have to write this review. If you’re looking for eyeglass frames, especially if you have an eye measurement of 60 or 61 . . . look no further. (NOTE: Most Chain Stores only offer up to a 56 or 58 measurement, and if they have a 60 it will typically be only one style that is available). I found that SIMPLYEYEGLASSES had the largest selection that fit this eye glass measurement. I chose the Metal Designer Frame: XXL Navigator in Gunmetal. I also wanted a better progressive lens so I chose the “Kodak Unique DS”. Worth noting is that all their lenses include Ultra Violet Protection, Scratch Resistance, and Edge Polishing. I also wanted the lens to be made stronger than the plastic or polycarbonate that my previous and older chain store eyeglasses were made of, so I selected “Trivex” which was optically superior to plastic and polycarbonate. Finally I wanted transition lenses. I have always had transitions lenses but the ones that came with my Navigator lenses changed faster when going from indoors to outdoors. I submitted my order and included my PD Measurement and within two weeks I had my completed order. By now some of you may wonder how I resolved the problem of getting my “PD”. At first, I was shocked after seeing my Ophtalmologist and taking a thorough eye examine, that my script for a new pair of glasses “Did Not Have My PD”. When I asked why, I was told that they don’t give it out . . . that’s because they want you to go to their owner affiliated eyeglass store and pay double and even triple the price for the eyeglass frames. On the internet I see that many people have the same problem at both privately own or chained own stores Note: Pupillary distance (PD) is the measurement, in millimeters, of the distance between the pupils of your eyes and is needed to determine the proper lens shape and alignment of your prescription correction to your line of vision. Don’t waste your time using a millimeter ruler and try looking into a mirror to photograph to mark where the center of your pupils are. It is NOT accurate. Save time and get a PD RULER. Then take the following steps: 1. Position and level the PD Ruler on your nose. 2. Have someone take a picture of “JUST YOUR HEAD” from 10-12 feet away. You must look straight ahead beyond the camera or iPhone. Taking the photo from a shorter distance will cause you to focus on the person crossing your eyes and you will get an incorrect measurement. 3. Download the image to your computer and Zoom-in to see your eyes close. You will clearly see the correct PD number . . . OD for your Right Eye & OS for your Left Eye. Repeat these steps 4 to 5 times to make sure you’re getting the same measurement each time. Then post these measurements on your order form. You will not be disappointed with SIMPLYEYEGLASSES.

Glasses were receive within two weeks. The overall fit and finish of the prescription lenses in the RayBan frame is excellent.

I'm very pleased with the overall work in the glasses and the shipping. I will definitely be back to order again. Great price and trusted people when you might go overboard and they are willing to give you the best advise and the right pay for something you might not need. One thing that will help you is to go find glasses you like at any optometrist and get your measurements for those and information inside the frames.

I had ordered prescription sunglasses from Simply about 5 years ago and since I was ordering from Europe, specifically the Czech Republic, there were a few minor technical issues we had to straighten out and they worked out all the problems while being pleasant and caring for the customer. After 5 years I again ordered prescription sunglasses and again from Europe and again Simply worked with me to get the order expedited and shipped as fast as possible. Be assured I will get prescription glasses from Simply again!

I needed to replace an old pair of frames that I really loved. A couple other places told me the manufacturer had discontinued that particular model. One even cancelled my purchase after the fact. But simplyeyeglasses.com was quite helpful and actually called the manufacturer and located some old stock of my frames in the warehouse, so I managed to get them after all. The price was not fantastic, but was in line with other sites so no problem there. The package was delivered promptly and professionally wrapped and included a real nice glasses case. My favorite eye glasses recently broke and I was super disappointed! I went online and googled the frames and Simply Eyeglasses came up. They had the frames I was looking for! I put an order in and recieved them quickly. Once they came in the mail I realized I had ordered the wrong ones. Super bummed again! But I got back online and found the right ones and contacted their 800 number. The lady that helped me was so nice and did an exchange on them (not even charging me the $10 difference for the ones I wanted!) Simply Eyeglasses made this experience very easy on me and made me feel like a valued customer, even though this was my first time purchasing something from them. I would strongly recommend them!
