I paid $19.99 for Simplify+ on October 13 and asked for a refund the same day because Autopilot left incorrect information. For an application that did not submit, support acknowledged conflicting answer records and said they couldn't confirm the final selection. I asked them to reconsider, and they refused the refund again. They confirmed the subscription won't renew, but I'm very unhappy with the service and how my complaint was handled.

I subscribed to Simplify+ and cancelled my subscription the very same day after trying the product and realizing it wasn’t useful for me. I uploaded my resume, tried the job search and cover letter features, and honestly didn’t find enough value to justify paying for the service. Much of what I tested felt like functionality I can already get from general AI tools such as ChatGPT, rather than something worth a separate paid subscription. I contacted Simplify immediately and asked for a refund. They confirmed that I had cancelled, but refused to refund the $39.99 because I had already activated and briefly used the service. Their position was that payments are non-refundable after activation — even when cancellation happens shortly after purchase. That was the most disappointing part of the experience for me. I understand that this may be stated in their refund policy, but I think refusing any refund to a new customer who tries the product briefly and cancels on the same day is extremely customer-unfriendly. My advice: read the refund terms very carefully before subscribing. Don’t assume that you’ll be able to try Simplify+ and get your money back if you quickly decide it isn’t for you.

Horrible support and subscription policies. I had canceled a subscription almost guaranteed, and instead, for two months, I was being charged for it. Luckily I caught it. When I finally caught it, they only refunded me one of the two months they charged me for, and I didn't even use the service

I would not recommend Simplify based on my experience. The service is advertised in a way that made me believe it would significantly simplify and automate the job application process, but I found that I was still doing most of the work myself. I still had to spend a lot of time entering information, managing resumes, and completing applications, and I ran into issues getting the service to function properly. For a paid product, I expected it to save me a meaningful amount of time, but that was not the case. I also felt that the way the service is presented does not fully match what it actually delivers. Because of this, I ended up requesting a refund, as it did not meet my expectations. I would advise anyone considering Simplify to carefully check what parts of the process are actually automated before paying for it.

Their job board RAN OUT of jobs within ~13 applications (with my own, pretty-broad search settings applied), and replenished by a just couple of jobs PER WEEK thereafter. The AI is extremely unsophisticated, it will lie by default, "massage" keywords in like a caveman. The autocomplete tool worked most of the time, but leaves blanks pretty regularly (without notification). I feel like a complete rube spending $40 on this bs.

Do not trust Simplify Jobs with your data. They use a deceptive setup through a platform called Featurebase to make you believe you are having a private conversation with support, only to publish your personal information publicly on their user forum. When I reached out for help, I expected a confidential interaction. Instead they used my name, questions and feedback verbatim, and turned it into a public "feedback" post without my consent. This is a blatant attempt to harvest consumer data to make their community forum look active. Even after I caught them and explicitly demanded the removal of my Personally Identifiable Information (PII), they refused to take immediate corrective action. The metadata in their system even shows one of the co-founders manually tampering with entries rather than protecting user privacy. They are more interested in "growth" and looking popular than following basic privacy laws or respecting the people using their platform. If you value your privacy and don't want your private business searchable on Google, do not use their platform.

This company sucks. They have the most misleading marketting ever. For black friday, they had a deal for 3 free months of the Pro subscription. I choose the option, and low and behold it wasnt 3 months free, it was just 50 percent off the pro plan for 6 months which would be the same price as 3 months free. Thats not 3 months free nad it never will be. Emailled the company about this and they were extremely slow to reply and did not refund me! Its ridiculous how conniving these bay area startups can be. All for a quick buck. Please do better in the future.

Has potential--but has a long way to go. The autofill tool is great--the rest not so much. They also tend to "fix one thing, which then breaks something else" They are slow to respond. My last bug email took 9 days to get a response. They need some customer success people--you can't take 9 days and then not fix anything
