HI - I participated in the marketing review and thinking the SAS training would be as methodical at the review, was very disappointed - the training was a simple extension of the marketing review. It was not well paced and difficult to follow. I talked with customer service about a refund and was just offered a course upgrade. I chose not to invest any more time in poorly constructed course ware. It was explained by 'CS' that the purchase window showed no refunds...... apparently customer satisfaction was not part of the criteria

Thank you for your feedback, Greg! We're sorry that you didn't get more value from our SAS training course. Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds on our digital assets as stated in our terms & conditions. We're still happy to give you credit to our store or to upgrade you to the next level of the class for no additional charge. If you're interested, please let us know at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, The Simpler Trading Team

If it isn't out of a powerful squeeze indicator they created then they are all GUESSING which is most of what you see in this room. The squeeze does pretty well. Otherwise, I made 5K one day on their trades and then the next couple day lost it all so a lot of it is this type of action ..... Finally, decided I got what I wanted to out of it and have moved on

Hi Mike, Our services are primarily focused on education. With that being said, no one is right about the market 100% of the time. That’s why we focus on teaching our members how to trade and what strategies have worked for us. This past year, we’ve seen unprecedented market conditions. It’s been tough for any trader regardless of their experience and approach. Our traders use their own accounts with their own money whenever they trade and are truly vested in the outcome of each and every trade though, which isn’t the case for most companies in our space. We would love to continue this conversation about your experience with us, please feel free to give us a call at 512-266-8659 or email us at [email protected] Sincerely, The Simpler Trading Team

I just finished the 3 month Small Account Mastery service. I paid $597 for the service and funded a $5K account on TD Ameritrade's Think or Swim platform (which I like very much). I just left the service and asked to be refunded the auto-billed following 3 months because at the end of the first term, my $5K account had less than $1K left in it. It's as though I paid John Carter $600 to teach me how to lose $4K, which I could easily have done on my own. I found logging into and staying logged into the trading room glitchy (often the chat/sound/trade alerts would not work [on either Firefox or Chrome] and you'd have to reload the entire room numerous times throughout the trading day. I ended up having to constantly check the Simpler Trading phone app just to see if an alert came out.), the support staff somewhat unresponsive (especially as it related to time-sensitive trades, and even more so with emails), and then John Carter's trades (the most important part) were fairly hit or miss. He wasn't teaching a system so much as he was just trading himself while you followed along as he gave some folksy explanations of why he's entering this trade, or exiting that one. In the meantime, you have to pay more (much more) for the special indicators that he uses to help him identify setups. By example of my poor experience, I missed an exit on a Roku setup because I couldn't get a response from them on a question I asked about specific action to be taken on the trade. So that cost me about $1K in the first month, then several other Tesla setups went bad, and that trimmed another grand off the account, then because most of the rest of the account was already leveraged at that point, I couldn't participate in some of the newer trade setups, which means I had to guess which ones participate and, of course, the ones I didn't participate in ended up being profitable. 90 days later, I had to bail on the service just to salvage the $1K I had left. I've previously had 3 years of longer style options trading experience, so I understood the concepts and wanted to try something new with this service on John Carter's pitch that "I aim to make 2% per week on my account, so that I can wire out 1.5% for income". And finally outside of losing $4K on John Carter's Small Account Mastery service, the most maddening and disgusting part was receiving well over 150 marketing/sales emails in 90 days for other Simpler Trading. They just keep coming non-stop, and they're all tied to other webinars that are tied to selling more services that are tied to selling more indicators that are tied to selling more mentors... I've never been so over-marketed to by a company I already gave my money to. The only fair concession I'll give John Carter is that he is clearly deeply experienced and aggressive and his trades/setups move quickly and you have to be ready to move with him or your toast. Wish I would've just kept my money in my long investments.

Hi Matt, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t find success with our Small Account Mastery program. John’s trading style is great for aggressive account growth, but he does have a high tolerance for risk. With this service, John adjusts his strategy to fit a more conservative approach for smaller accounts. However, we still encourage you to set your own risk parameters based on your tolerance and account size. As for the marketing emails, we’re not sure why you received so many, but our team is looking into it. We also notified our tech team to look into why there may have been issues accessing the trading room and getting trade alerts. I’ve sent you a follow-up note. I’d love to discuss some potential solutions to help you find your trading success. Sincerely, The Simpler Trading Team

I found John through a daily ToS Swim Lessons session many many years ago. I think at this time there was John, Henry, and Bruce only. I subscribed off and on until my career ended with retirement in 2017. I have since been a devoted daily participant. I now consider myself a seasoned trader. I value SimplerTrading more now than from the beginning. It is great to have such a wonderful group of moderators and participants.

I've done a lot, lot, LOT of courses and monthly subscriptions off and on with Simpler Trading for over about 7 years. They trade real money and give trades and advice in real time that are actionable. They have solid trade set-ups and really know their stuff. They are straight forward and honest, mostly. They have been MUCH better these days about also talking about their losing trades, where before they mainly touted winners and swept losers under the carpet and often were not giving advice on how to get out of or even comment on losing trades. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that they are EXTREMELY advanced and can be VERY hard to follow, even for the most seasoned traders. They only usually speak to the most advanced traders in live rooms and often in courses. They (most of the trade instructors) throw a ton of advanced trading terms and concepts around and expect ALL to know what they are saying. They are absolutely NOT for beginners. Even their beginner course has been unsuccessful for those I have sent to it, being too difficult. I've discussed this problem of too advanced of gradients with them many times and they have improved, but the trading rooms and most of the courses are still don't fully explain concepts/indicators used but assume "everyone knows". The trade instructors I did find that are better at conveying their techniques in a way that communicates in a more "for everyone" user-friendly way in their classes and in their chat rooms are Carolyn and Bruce. Another area to be aware of it that they have a new course ever few weeks that is the "best yet" and it is hard to stay focused and easy to buy many courses. They are terrific marketers and do have some seriously big wins with some of their trades to entice you with that are real (but not all of course). One is compelled to buy and the good 'ol "fear of missing out" can lead one to buy many courses and not stay focused. It's easy to get distracted with latest greatest. The various people I've sent over the years also have commented this to me also. I've sent a number of people to the company (and wanted to send so many more) but ALL have fallen off because of these above 2 points. Mainly, they just can't follow what is being said in trading rooms and even in the courses, so much knowledge is expected even for a beginner. These are some pretty smart individuals I've sent. But sadly, none have stuck. Despite my frustrations, overall Simpler is the real deal, and do have good trading techniques if you are disciplined to wade through the difficult learning curve. Understand that it will be much more time consuming than you probably think up front. As noted, I definitely do not recommend them for beginners and even most intermediate traders. You need to know a good amount options concepts or you will get lost. I would give them 2 or 3 stars because of the difficulties of not speaking to all of the audience, but to only the most advanced customers and the constant marketing of new things. However, I like them very much because they have excellent customer service and are honest traders passing on their knowledge and trades.

I rated Simpler Trading/Simpler Options 3 stars so I stand by that, you can read my previous review of how I feel about Carter and company in my review last year, but anyone considering JC & Friends should read the 1 stars, because I agree with a lot of what they have to say. In my opinion, they are telling it like it is, not the glowing, I am a newbie trader and they are wonderful. I would throw out about 20% of the glowing reviews from traders with stars in their eyes, but not money in the bank...

You have an incredible service with the best traders that I have ever seen. My great challenge is to be able to imitate them one day. So, I want to say thank you
