I took the SAM class when it was first launched in April of 2019. I had just started trading and having a smaller account I was looking for some answers. I take responsibility for my losses. I guess I used to be a puppet trader, having put Carter in the pedestal and trusting him blindly. Needless to say my account suffered greatly and then discontinued the service. I have a friend who is still in the service. I told my friend, not to ever take his trades blindly but to run them by me. You see after the Carter fiasco, I found a great mentor and spent 180 hours one on one learning correctly reading charts. My friend still had some time left in his subscription so we decided that we are going to analyze Carters trades. What can I tell you? Carter takes trades with no signals, with no reading charts, with no risk management. What I saw was so bad that I emailed Carter, about one of his blunders, it was an IWM trade not sure if it was long or short but whatever he did the market did the opposite. I got a mocking response that I did not know what I was talking about. I let it go. Carter used to be a great trader but that was in the past. He is a great marketer now and when he gives his classes he gives you great hope that he knows what he is talking about, talks about his million dollar trades while his SAM subscribers are bleeding. He is marketing a new class every week. Some people there in SIMPLER are very good. But stay away from Carter.

Exactly the same here! I have signed up to John Carter’s small account service in April with a small account of 15K and today I’m down to less than 5K Plus the service costs! Unbelievably bad service! He refuses to answer questions regarding as well! He supposed to be one of the best traders out there with million$ trades … etc. ??????? So dissapointed in the service! I don’t know what to think of this! I will have until dec.2. my subscription and will probably loose all my money by then! So for sure not going to renew it and definately not recommend the service to anyone either to losse their hard earned money either.

SAM is a mixture of alerts service, live trading with John Carter once a month, and training to advertise their remodeled indicators. You will be mastery of getting your account a lot SMALLER. It’s simpler gambling. Their trade risk management is max loss, and 70-80% max win. You won’t learn any system that could generate consistent income. Instead, you will constantly hope that the trade alerts would be a homerun to make back your lost. The service is costly and not worth it. My account P/L is down -60% following these alerts in 9 months. Bet you won’t see that on their website. 50/50 chance of coin toss is better than SAM win rate. John Carter puts in the trades using his experience and breaks some of his own trading rules. You won’t clearly get the ideas behind these trades. Everyday you will see members expressing their frustrations in the chat room. Moderators don’t even care what positions SAM account is holding until someone asked questions. They made more money from subscriptions and indicators sales than actual trading. Don’t get too excited after watching their webinars, the reality is not as good as you imagine. I’m very disappointed with the service. After nine months, I lost my confidence in trading thanks to Simpler Trading.

Attended several classes and spend money on subscriptions including SAM, and I only lost money. Same happened to my friend. Though the first free webinars they tell you that they can make money in ANY market, but they only lose money and they belame it on market. I feel they only make they money from you by paying for subscriptions and classes, and not from market.

I had purchased an options membership earlier this year, then had to go for open heart surgery. I also purchased the RAF indicator but before I got profitable I have had to spend most of my trading capital to survive, including suspending my options membership. I feel that Simpler Trading is the key to my success as a profitable trader, but sadly will not be able to pursue trading in the immediate future after suspending my membership. My plan is to rejoin the options room and the RAF indicator when it expires as soon as I can save the money to do so

I am excited about being a member of Simpler Trading. I have learned a lot about both mechanics and the mental side of trading. As a member of SAM, the one thing that would be helpful when John or Julia post a trade is a little more explanation about why. I don't have all the tools they have so not always sure why they place the trade. I am working to increase my tool box but it will be slow. I plan to stay a member and keep working to get better. I have been struggling to make consistent profits for 3 years as a trader. I watched several webinars from Simpler Trading and read reviews, and decided to learn more from John Carter’s trading strategies and his indicators. After 1-year subscription of SAM, I didn’t see any particular set up to make consistent income based on their indicators. SAM is like an alert service that you will get a few random trade alerts and once a month live trading section with John. Most of trade alerts has a high risk with a low probability of winning. It’s like getting on the train early to have a good seat, and watching it going on the wrong direction is the worst part. Their indicators are not simpler but more and more complicated with small adjustments to upsell you with expensive costs and classes. Those indicators aim for a purpose that probably no indicator could ever do: timing the market. Of course, it is impossible timing the market. Thus, using those expensive indicators is just for reference as other free indicators. SAM got some max-loss losing streak that caused the account suffered 20-50% swinging up and down. Simpler Trading is very successful in marketing. Watching webinars and joining live trading sections with John Carter make you feel promising and hopeful about consistent income based on those fancy indicators. Well, my advice is that don’t waste your hard earned money on those expensive subscriptions and indicators if you’re not comfortable with gambling trading style: looking for home run and ok with max loss. John Carter may get higher winning probability based on his experience. But I cannot rely on him forever. I came to SAM to learn a way to make consistent profit as their webinars trying to lure you in. So far, I haven’t learned anything than losing 11k plus subscription fees, classes costs and indicators costs. I wish there were some reviews like this before I signed up for SAM and bought those indicators. So here you are, from my realistic experience.
