I have a mobile hotspot and I had to renew the GBs on it I called the number because it wasn’t working for any of my devices I was on the phone for over four hours the first time I called and I spoke to eight different people and before I got off the four hour phone call the girl said I might be eligible for a new mobile hotspot but she said I wasn’t but I had one day on my warranty left she just didn’t want to give me a free one and then she said I could go buy a new mobile hotspot and they could switch it over then I asked for a refund she “switched” me over to you the refund people and that guy that I was on the phone with said I had to call back tomorrow for my refund call back the next day bye-bye he said my money should automatically go in there into call back in 24 hours if it ain’t so I had to call back Indian the guy I talk to said it could take 3 to 5 days for the money to get refunded to me so moral of the story I don’t think I’m getting my money back and they are all scammers.

Poor customer service. 100% willing to jerk you around on technical points to scam money out of you. Don't get involved with them. Read some more of these reviews and go to another company. Also, beware of their sister companies, like Tracfone. They're willing to ruin relationships in order to make a buck. 0/10 Would not recommend. I bought a phone thinking that it was unlocked and got a cheap plan with Tracfone. After a few months I had to cancel my plan and just use the phone on Wi-Fi. Now, three years later, I want to activate the phone on an AT&t family plan and it turns out that the phone is, in fact, locked. When I got ahold of Tracfone (the only provider I've ever had with this phone) they sent me to Simple Mobile. Simple Mobile basically told me that since the phone was sold through their brand it is factory locked. I asked if they could unlock the phone for me and they basically said to stuff it. I either have to stay with them for 12 months of service or pay $300 to get the phone unlocked. I've already set up my AT&T contract and the phone was $150. There is no way that I could or would keep a plan with Simple Mobile, and I could buy two new phones for the price that it would take to get this one unlocked. Yet they can't make a concession. The rules are the rules, and the special circumstances that customers face matter as much as the customer... not at all.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star unless I had to so I could write this. I ordered a phone for my fiancé in March because he wasn’t happy with straight talk anymore so we wanted to make a switch, received it in 2 days, while waiting on the phone to arrive my fiancé got a new phone through work so we decided he didn’t need 2 phones so I tried to return the simple mobile phone. I got on chat with someone a few days after receiving the phone to confirm the return address and he reminded me that there is a 30 day money back guarantee, and it could take up to 30 days for the funds to hit my account, I had to wait another week due to being covid quarantined, so 14 days of having the phone I sent it over night to the Florida address that chat support gave me, I waited the extra 30 days for the refund to hit my account. Called them and found out that he had me send it to corporate instead of the distribution center…finally we are at May 1st and I have confirmation that they have the phone and in 30 days I will have my refund, waited the 30 days and still no refund, I call again on day 34 and they tell me that they sent the refund, but my bank was holding it. So I call my bank and they issue a charge back or whatever it’s called and now simple mobile is saying that I never sent the phone, and I never even called to talk to them, like I don’t have confirmation from fedex that it was delivered AND signed off by their corporate employee!! I am beyond mad!!!

all the reviews are just exact...stay away from this nightmare

I am on the phone with Simple Mobile right now. They give me a hard time because they don't have the same IMEI # as me so they won't help me with my data issue. They think I stole the phone. A phone # I have had for 4 years and pay the bill every month. I am so frustrated I could scream!

If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible chat customer service. I asked for 1 piece of information several times to transfer phone and she continued to be confused. I also think they are chatting with several other people at the same time. Long waits between confusion. Glad I'm gone. Never again.

Worst cell service I have ever came across Would NOT suggest this service to anybody NOT even my worst enemy. Government phones have better service

This is the worst phone service you can get. Everyday I miss called and it says the Carrier has stopped my service , not sure way. I have screen shot of this information for proof. I have no more time nor patients for this carrier.
