I sent $60 to these guys after it said I had an unpiad invoice, I've paid it like 3 times and everytime it says transaction failure but it takes the money out of my bank account and sends it to them. This website feels like a scam honestly and the support chat is terrible they dont even try and help you

Thank you for sharing this. I understand why that would be concerning to see on your bank account. I want to clarify that no payments were captured on our end.
What you’re seeing are failed authorization attempts, which can appear as pending charges but are never actually collected and will drop off automatically, usually within a couple of days.
Our support team explained this in chat, and your bank can confirm that no funds were transferred. If you didn’t receive an order confirmation email, the payment did not go through.

Horrible provider
Hello, I play on a server who was run by this. You guys shut our server off, no saves 8 months of work down the drain just because you didn’t like what he said from your horrible customer service. If it hurts your feelings don’t make a whole small communities experience horrible by wiping all their work. Horrible decision I hope you realize how horrible of people all of you are.

We completely understand how disappointing it can be to lose progress on a server, and we truly wish things had ended differently. Our team did everything we could to help the account holder resolve their issue, including providing multiple solutions, issuing a full refund, and even keeping the server online through the remainder of the billing period with a direct download link for the backup.
Unfortunately, the situation escalated after repeated harassment toward our support team, and we had to make the decision to end service in line with our policies. We never take actions like this lightly and always aim to treat every community and customer fairly.

Frustrating and Overhyped – SimpleGameHosting is Anything But Simple
If you're thinking about using SimpleGameHosting for a modded Minecraft server, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Setting up a modded server with them is insanely difficult. They advertise mod support, but in reality, they only offer six modpacks — and even those are a nightmare to get working.
I even upgraded my plan thinking it would help me play the modpacks they offer, but it changed nothing. The process is just as clunky, confusing, and frustrating. Honestly, if I wanted to play vanilla Minecraft, I'd just get Realms and avoid all this hassle. The entire point of using a hosting service like this is for modded servers, and they completely fail at delivering on that.
To make things worse, their customer support is slow and pretty much useless. You'd think paying for a service would come with at least decent support, but good luck getting any real help.
Overall, SimpleGameHosting is not worth it for modded Minecraft. Overpriced, overhyped, and anything but simple.

For customer support, we looked more into specific chats and situation as we truly pride ourselves in having the best support possible. Your Live Chat wait time was under 45 seconds, and you were spamming and cursing at our support agent, who still helped you until you ended the chat. At no point did you state what you were trying to do with your server.

False advertising
Your youtube videos imply that setting up a modded server is easy and simple to do, which not only is completely false but the mods you offer are insanely few to the point that your search bar is worthless since it just shows the same 6 mods and nothing else. As an actual server host, everything seems good and the customer service helped me with my issues, but if I wanted to make a vanilla server I'd just use Minecraft Realms at that point, the whole reason why I paid for your servers was because of the claim that setting up mods would be simple.

I just looked up your server, and a refund has already been issued. I'm sorry to hear about your less-than-stellar experience with mods. However, I think there may be some confusion.
Mods and modpacks are completely different. Modpacks are one-click install. Mods, while also easy to install, do require you to download them and upload them to the server using our file manager. If you decide to give SimpleGameHosting another shot, I'll provide links on both of getting both of these below.

My experience was horrible
My experience was horrible. All I wanted to do was start a server to play with a few friends but for some reason none of them could join. Also because of how your set up is it costs more money for different plans just for a couple people to play and not very much so it's not really worth it. Lastly with all the server information and mods there was a lot of errors when starting up the server and some wouldn't even start up at all depending on what mod pack I chose. This service is horrible and hard to use especially for those of us who struggle with computer technical stuff.

Based on what you've said in the review and what I saw on your server, your friends most likely don't have all the mods on the server installed locally on their computer while running Forge. This will result in them not being able to join. Your server is also running 1.16.5, which could have made this process even more difficult.

As far as the errors when the server is starting in the console, this is extremely common with modded Minecraft. Your server has over 300 mods on it. Thus, all of those mods have to talk to each other and communicate. Often, there will be thousands of errors during the start-up process. This is completely normal. Servers not starting after a modpack is installed is typically due to the server running out of RAM, thus a higher RAM package is needed. A modpack with 300 mods, such as the one you are running currently, can often need 8GB to start initially.
