Server kept crashing, way to expensive to only run 100 mods at 10 gigabytes of server ram, and still crash.

First time making a server, since I'm new I ran into issues. I choose this company as all the YouTube ads and website make it seem like you'll get the support you need. When I needed the support it really wasn't there. I got better assistance troubleshooting through google. Easy to install mods, and everything but I would not recommend for beginners due to support.

The server is excessively expensive. For 8€, I can't even run a small modpack; the server crashes and restarts constantly! It's impossible to keep it running properly. It's the least worthwhile 8€ I've ever spent. I invited my friends to play, and they were all disappointed that it wouldn't even start!

Additionally, based on the price you mentioned, you are running a 2GB server. Those servers are not meant to run any modpacks, and no where on our site or in our marketing do we state a 2GB server can run modpacks. Generally, we recommend at least a 4GB to 6GB server to run any mods. 2GB servers are best for vanilla Minecraft and super-optimized plugin servers. In regards to price, we strive to provide value through our services, taking into account the costs involved in maintaining high-quality, reliable servers, support, and features that meet our users' expectations, all while staying competitive in the Minecraft server hosting space. It's also worth noting that our service comes with 10 backups, unlimited CPU usage, unlimited storage, and premium support for free without any additional prices beyond the advertised price. For as much as the server costs… it just isn’t what it should be. there is something wrong all the time with the server and honestly i might have to end my subscription and fix a better host for my server Edit: A little over a week before this was posted my friend started up her own server on a different hosting website with all the same mods, there has been no issues the server runs perfectly with 2 people playing with the same exact mods that were used for this server, at much better price.

I'm sorry to hear about your less-than-positive experience. Looking at your server, it appears that you originally purchased a 4GB package, but were trying to run over 80 mods, some of which were very resource-intensive. Unfortunately, Minecraft servers with this many mods need at least 6GB of RAM to run effectively. After upgrading your server to 6GB, the crashing stopped. Additionally, there were some local only mods that you installed on the server after it was first setup. These mods stop the server from starting properly. Our team assisted you in removing these mods and getting the server online. Other issues are also related to the custom modpack you have installed or local issues, such as a modded item kicking you from the server when joining and the CurseForge App on your computer having issues. Our team assisted you with these issues as well helping fix local issues even outside of the services we provide.
