Scheduling with them is a nightmare. Tried to book online and it showed available appointments today but when I try to book it changes it to another day. Called them and they don't show any availability that is reflected online. Also, they cancel appointments last minute and don't notify the patient. Their staff is rude and unprofessional.

They get 1 star for the ones doing the imaging they are great from the front desk to the scheduling they suck . I had three apointments scheduled that they canceled. They then rescheduled them for a month later. I then had issues with insurance for one of the three apointments. I called and asked them not to cancel because I was appealing the depile for service. One week before that third applinmet which was finally approved by the insurance company they canceled that one. They disregarded the notes on the order said not canceled with out talking to me.Which I had to call three times to ask them not to cancel the apointment. Now today one and ahalf hour before my appoinment they call and canceled. I now have to hope they donr cancel since I now have to wait another month to get in another month they have little to no consideration for there patients

PIRADS 5- Very high (clinically significant cancer is highly likely to be present) That's how my report read 15 days after my scan, and then only because I kept calling and berating them about the delay. According to them, reports are ready 2 to 3 business days post scan. They get one star only because i had to.

3 times to 3 different offices for a "STAT" biopsy. Still no performed. Traveling 1.5 hours or so away for these appts. As of today, no biopsy, no appointment for a rescheduled biopsy. Will NOT be going back to SMI for anything, ever.

I have scheduled a DEXA scan 3 times at Simon Med. Each time I am told they have a tech to perform this scan and each time, a day or so prior to the scheduled day, I receive a call saying they DO NOT have a tech and I need to reschedule the appointment. What the hell is wrong with Simon Med. Also, absolutely NO ONE contacts you in regards to these complaints. You receive some generic email response (that everyone else receives), but no one actually calls you in response.

In a scale 0-10 I give them 0 Simonmed AZ Estrella 8921 W Thomas rd. My mom showed up for her appointment 6/8/26 to find out her appointment was canceled for no reason and never bother to let her know. Appointment was rescheduled right there and then for 6/12/26 we are here now and we were told she is not in the system. So here I’m waiting for a manager because I refused to leave w/o explanation o had take the day off work to bring mom to her appointment since she doesn’t drive. This is terrible.

I am convinced Simon Med is involved in fraudulent billing. I started coming here a few years ago for mammograms and breast ultrasounds every 6 months. After each time I would receive a bill that would not match my EOB statement from my insurance company. I had to call each time to dispute the bill. They usually complied with my insurance company after a couple phone calls. The most recent bill they did not agree with my insurance and wanted an extra $300 over my EOB. I went on their website and paid what my insurance company told me I owed with my HSA. Simon Med is claiming to never have gotten what I paid them. My HSA has a record of the money going to Simon Med. Simon Med said I paid ‘the wrong department’ and cannot find the funds and threatened to send me to collections. I paid the full bill to avoid collections - so now I OVERPAID Simon Med by $300 and they refuse to refund me. My HSA won’t refund me because they said it’s been over 60 days. I decided to get mammograms and breast ultrasounds at a different company after the billing issue. The radiologist told me she sees no reason why Simon Med told me to come every 6 months for screening. I truly believe their billing department is fraudulent or at the very least unethical. I believe they told me to keep coming every 6 months just for the money and not because anything on my scan looked cancerous.

Worse experience ever. Came in 30 mins before my 915am appt. Waited till then just to told me thy have to reschedule me. On top of that they only open Wednesday and Thursday so inconvenience. Told me they won’t have another morning shift till 3 weeks from now. Mind you I have to get my MRI done before next week Tuesday. Save your time and energy DO NOT COME HERE I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME ANS ENERGY.
