SimilarwebReviews of similarweb.com

U suck. Said it was free. brought me through 10 questions. and then required a payment. SUCKS!

I spent over $5000 on social media to increase traffic as reported on Similarweb over the last three months. However, after they changed their system on July 28, only one-fifth of the traffic is now visible on Similarweb. This change has effectively caused a loss of over $4000, as I relied on Similarweb data. Additionally, the platform now also shows inaccurate traffic data for GA4. Previously, I used Similarweb to gauge the reliability of websites by checking their traffic. Since July 28, Similarweb's traffic data, including its GA4 data, has become unreliable. Despite these significant issues, which have resulted in substantial financial losses and loss of customer trust, they show no concern and fail to take responsibility for resolving the issue. This is not fair at all.

I'm interested in using this service, You can't contact anyone. I'm locked into a limited version, I have the ability to upgrade and pay but whenever you make a big ticket purchase, you'd like to think you could clarify the finer points of the product you're buying ( I'm only interested in UK data), I've sent a request intimating I'm ready to buy, no response. Also worryingly I cant access my own data, I can't sign out or manage my account.

On July 28, SimilarWeb significantly altered traffic data reporting for millions of websites, drastically reducing reported visits. This change has had severe repercussions, including substantial financial losses for businesses that invested heavily in advertising to improve their SimilarWeb visibility. Additionally, the inaccurate data has eroded customer trust, with visitors mistakenly believing that these websites have lost credibility. Tremedous Impacts of the Issue: Financial Losses: Businesses have spent significant amounts of money on advertising through social media, Google Ads, and other platforms to boost their presence on SimilarWeb. The recent changes have led to a significant decrease in reported traffic data, even retroactively for months, resulting in financial losses. Erosion of Trust: Customers and visitors, seeing the reduced traffic data, may lose trust in these websites, wrongly assuming that they have significantly fewer visitors than they do. It seems no one cares to solve the problem after two months.

They get you to signup to then ask you for money. Nothing annoys people more than this. If you want to charge something for your services please disclouse that before hand.

Tried to register but your form would not accept my UK phone number. I've tried every format possible. Tried to contact your support team - exact same issue" Why do you need my phone number this much at this point is beyond me!? I have clearly stated I needed help due to a technical issue NOT a sales query. Tried to livechat/chatbot - you are not allowing me to say a word. And instead forcing to set up a call with you - no sale is ever going to be made with such a terrible CX.

Früher konnte man einfach alles gratis sehen nun ist alles hinter einer 300 Euro PayWall

Impossible to signup. Twenty times filled in my phone number, nothing works. Step 6 of 8... Ridiculous. How long does this company exist?
