I joined yesterday, filled in my profile, uploaded a few photos, then flicked through the so called matches, absolutely outrageous, not my types at all, the website is very restricting, you have to pay to type other criteria in your requirements for a so called “match”. Some users have just put photos of gardens, beer glasses as their profile photo, so we know the photos are not checked for verification at all, neither is the profile bio!! How do we know if the profiles we trawl through are indeed actually live, or are the users no longer her active? I certainly would not pay to access their full site, waste of money. Overall the online platform is far too restrictive, there is no way of conducting a “search”, or anything much else. Very unhappy and totally disappointing!!

Do not waste your money I paid for 6 months which wad so stupid the site is hard to get on and you never make contact with anyone. Wasted money DON'T DO IT!!+

Fake profile, after fake profile. "Matches" listed in towns that don't exist. Paid for a 3 month membership, cancelled almost immediately. I was initially able to message potential matches, but once I cancelled my subscription, could no longer message, even though my paid subscription runs for another month.

Scammers are abundant on this site..no matches for me..real disappointed

I wish I could give it no stars! They recently did an update and completely changed how the system works. I’ve lost my messages as well as my likes and have been unable to even figure out how to make it work. I guess they know there’s a problem because you can’t find any place on our website to contact customer support. A year ago I encouraged a lot of people to join this site but now I’ll tell everyone to run the other way!

Your customer service is on point, it's the "new" format that is terrible, stop trying to be like Tinder. One aspect I liked of the original format was I could message someone that hadn't yet matched with me and I made a few great connections that way, don't spoil a good thing trying to be another thing. SilverSingles is one of the best dating sites on the inter-web and now you've gone and fixed what wasn't broken. I'm thinking of not re-subscribing.

Should have trusted the poor reviews. Close to subscription renewal, suddenly their format changed when logged into and a strange page appeared with only a logout button and profile questions forcing you to start setting up a profile from the beginning even though one was there for weeks. Tried to rush through then was blocked. Then comes the loop, no way to contact customer service except with an email which is hard to find and a response promised within 48 hours which I received but it was relevant to nothing I'd addressed and kept sending me to a credit card form. Too many AI generated 'Hi's' with nothing behind them. Faces watching but noone communicating or seemingly alarmed at having being sent a message. The few conversations i did have seemed off, possibly AI too. Useless site as most of them are - AI scammers by the looks of things. Run away.

They can improve by going out of business. They do not keep their promises and pay no attention to your guidelines. They will send you so-called matches in states thousands of miles away, just to send you something, even though you have indicated only send matches in 50 mile radius. Plus, you constantly get messages that "something went wrong" and your messages are not sent to matches no matter you do, you just keep getting the message. If you complain, you get a reply "everything looks good on our end" which is ridiculous. I gave todays date, but the bad experiences are daily and ongoing.
