Probably the worst dating site online. Continued to charge after I cancelled. Shameful

I am so sorry I didn't check this site first before I gave this Berlin based company £167. There is no email address to communicate with them. Unfortunately, I found out too late. How horrible to take advantage of people who are vulnerable during these challenging times.

I created a profile using an email address created specifically for this site. ( I decided not to go ahead with membership). Two days later, this email address was used to send me a scam email purporting to come from DHL, requesting money ( in Swiss francs) for parcel delivery for something I never ordered.

Not sure how this works? Someone decides who you are compatible with and they make the decision, you haven't got a choice! What a load of S..t! Wish I'd never joined! Also they take the 6 months fee although I was of the understanding it was month by month!!! Dreadful! Never joined a dating site before and never will again! Controlled by some company in Germany ffs!!!

Silver Singles is easy to use and the online site is nicely organized. It might be good for people who live in the Metro New York/ No Jersey area but that is it. I am in the metro Phila area (Suburbs). Everyday I get many matches...about 90 miles away. I have repeatedly complained about this. Everyone knows people over 50 or 60 do not drive all over the world for a date, let alone try to have a relationship. Don’t waste your money if you are on the East Coast and NOT an easy ride into NYC.

Horrible dating site, Maybe they need the clicks for promotions, I'm not sure but they paid no attention to my preferences. I have to waste so much time just to delete their matches or suggestions that do not fit my preferences rather than having a delete button on their picture , you have to actually go into their profile and then there is a delete option. I've had a few matches that fit into my preferences but very little, no where near the matches that do not fit my preferences, I think I took a 3 month subscription and choose not to renew. My profile is still there until then being that I paid for it, So Overall in my Opinion, this is a legal scam, and I would not recommend it to anyone, but try at your own risk and good luck

The site is the most user UNFRIENDLY site I have ever used. They take absolutely no notice of your preferences; I have been sent introductions for women 100's of miles away. The Customer service is non-existent and they make it quite difficult to contact them. I also do not agree with the automatic renewal policy. In short I would not recommend anyone to use it.
