They send me a 50% discount offer , only to charge me in full ! and when I am calling and emailing to cancel and withdraw: customer service does not exist-hold over 2 hrs on phone no answer...will file complaints with prper authorities to take them down. Stay away from this site. Not trustworthy

The is an Predatory website that is Build by an overseas company that bills as an escort company in the US. This makes for a very confusing “smile” relationship.

Avoid this service unless you want to travel over 50 miles to meet any potential partners -in fact, just avoid this service! I took out a 3 month subsription and in this time there were only very small numbers of people in 'my area' (within 50 miles and not exactly what I would call 'local') - and I live within 20 miles of London where there are estimated to be 9 million people! So choice was very limited. On top of that, their cancellation process is obscure and anti-consumer. There was no apparent option to not renew subscription at end of billing period - only to cancel the service immediately. Subscription reviews automatically and there are no reminders - unlike other reputable sites. Having cancelled on the renewal date by email I was told that they wouldn't except my cancellation as I hadn't given them 5 days notice -despite the fact that the on-site instructions for doing this are so obscure that I couldn't find them. If you find yourself in this position, expect to receive non-answers from customer service and relentless attempts to reclaim what they say they owe you - incluing threats of legal action and passing your debt on to 3rd party debt collection agencies. Even in the sometimes dubious world of on-line dating, this company sets a new low in terms of customer service. I would add that i have used several dating agencies over the years, Match.com etc, and never had issues like this.

I was signed up not even for a week and canceled my account. Constantly receiving messages from scammers. Not a safe site. Going onto a dating site makes you already feel vulnerable you don’t need on top of it feel unsafe. I was shocked how many face profiles exist on this site. Don’t sign up. I wasted my good money. Don’t do the same.

Completely ripped off. Don’t subscribe to this site. Can’t get to talk to anyone re cancellation. I have had numerous emails with this company and the response was always in their favour despite trying to cancel within the 14 day cut off period. A total scam, especially if you are not tech savvy. Go to the pub instead to try and meet someone !

i’ve been on several dating sites over the years and moved a couple times, now in arizona. silver singles is one of worst sites ever, i’m going to list some things that guys don’t like as seniors, if you disagree stop reading this- 1. women who scam your profile, i wud get 20-30 smiles a day, some with pics some blocking their picks, they have no interest in you, just your money… 2. if you decide to chat, limit the chat and ask to talk, if they don’t it’s a scam, do not let them have control like; i need pics, you have listed your pics, they are current, it’s just another tactic. 3. if they ask what are you looking for during initial chat, it’s a scam. 4. on their profile, if they say their a “trader”, it’s a scam, if they say mobile beautician, scam, if they say international anything it’s a scam, if you can’t connect the dots, it’s a scam. 5. the match algorithm is bogus, you have completed your profile just like they did however, how many are honest? answer is- a few! 6. 80% of this website is fake- the pictures are terrible, this is no mention of their weight or these women are between 20-35, and their intentions are to scam you. 7. i mentioned the 80% rule, the other 20% may fit however, by the time you ask a few questions the 20% will go down to 10%, of the 10%, you might get lucky and find a diamond. 8. overall this site is a joke, plenty of fish not as bad, and zoosk although some of the women say their 60, when looking at the pic you know their 30, use you common sense and press delete, you can also shame them, more often they go away. remember this- if she has genuine interest, she will ask good questions, if she’s fake the chat is intermittent and vague, that’s a scam. there are many women on these sites that are sniffing, they have no intentions of doing anything except wasting your time, be prepared and move on… 9. don’t be hesitant to block people, this is a numbers game, it takes time to work it to your advantage. if she has looked at your profile 5-10 times and you said hi, waiting for response and get nothing- block them they are wasting your time. remember this- women want to upgrade their status, that’s okay as long as it’s not on your dime, you need to figure out their agenda and find out if their genuine.

No way to get real human contact with anyone on Silver Singles to ask some questions. Their Help and Customer Support pages only answer FAQ. There is no contact phone number. Appalling. Membership is a rip-off. Don’t use.
