UPDATE! since I told this so called business what I think about there business practices they have sent me 107 emails telling me come back, we have a special offer, we miss you?! Fake profiles is just the start. Subscription rip off is the main issue here. I ticked the non renewal button but then the auto renewal came. I tried several times to cancel via the website and phone, all to no avail. I cancelled my card I’d used and then started getting payment reminders. I replied to the payment reminders explaining that I tried to cancel, but this was not recognised or mentioned in any way, just more payment reminders. I’ve now received notices from a debt collector/ legal company with threats of court action. I have written to them explaining all the above, but they have not recognised my responses much the same as they ignored my cancellation request. They’ve written back stating that have I have not responded even though I clearly have. They have now offered a ‘generous’ payment by instalments plan. I would have paid the outstanding if I could trust that would be it, but given their track record and reviews, I fear that if I gave them anymore payment details they would just continue to take money out of my account. This is a totally untrustworthy site and I found it galling I had to give it a 1 star review so I could place comments

Stay well clear of this site, you can’t seem to log out find a menu or cancel your subscriptions if you wanted to, there no menu….not even sure the women/men are real to be honest it’s a scam….

I am quite sure I ticked the "do not renew subscription" button, yet as you guessed I have been charged for 3 months. I did not want a renewal because its Christmas time and money would be tight so here I am in debt. I guess I could do a extra nursing shift but I already do a 6-day week. They are based in Germany so difficult to talk to anyone

The matches provided typically did not meet my requirements. Many were beyond the 50-mikw radius, beyond the age noted, or dud nit include pictures. It's was as linf as they could breathe and gad something in common line exercising they were considered a match. I also received a lot of fraud alerts. Nit very good screening.

Use PLENTY OF FISH instead. They have have FREE MESSAGING. Yes, you can pay for more features but Messaging is free. So, you can chat and meet people without paying. SILVER SINGLES is just an ELABORATE SCAM! You can't do anything useful as a free member. I WASTED HOURS setting up a profile, taking their "personality tests", and THEN found out that you can't see profiles, message, chat, see photos or anything else unless you pay $20-30 per month! A total waste of time! REPLY TO SILVER SINGLES BELOW LOL listen to yourself - "some of our features are only available once you pay". The FACT is that EVERY USEFUL "FEATURE" REQUIRES PAYMENT. Your SO-CALLED FREE STUFF IS: - Setting up a profile - And that's IT - nothing else. - So gosh but yeah NO ONE IS FOOLED - ergo your TONS OF BAD REVIEWS. So how about you LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS and do something smart like limited access to at least ONE USEFUL THING FOR 1-2 WEEKS. Or ... keep collecting 1 star reviews? Your choice!

I paid GBP167 to get 12 matches most of whom are almost 100 miles away. Don't get caught. I realised within minutes that this is a scam site and a total rip off. I am now attempting to recover my money A few tips : 1) Beware of the dreaded 'auto rebilling'. This should be made illegal as it is automatically applied and should be an 'opt in' not 'opt out' And yes, it gets worse - if you close your account BEFORE stopping it they will continue to steal your money and you will not be able to log in to stop them. Smart Eh ? This applies to most of the so called 'high rated' sites (by the way those ratings are achieved by buying Adwords - and blocking negative Adwords - check this one line) 2) Why do none of them answer my messages. I know - frustrating isn't it. Reason : Most never see them. They close their account before deleting their profile. So the profile remains and the site can claim to have thousands of members still when most have left and cannot be contacted as they never log on to the site. Cannot log on = cannot remove profile. 3) I really do believe that there are some dating sites that have at least a vestige of integrity and honesty. Must be some who have fair and reasonable trading practices ? If anyone reading this knows of one perhaps you would be kind enough to let me know 4) And last, these people are in the business of taking as much money from you as they can. It is business pure and simple. Ever occurred to you why they all seem to be in other countries where they are not subject to UK law and cannot be got at ? 5) OK - I lied - 4 was not last. My advice is that you probably have more chance hanging around by the checkouts in your local supermarket

Totally the worst dating site I have been in. And believe me, I’ve been on a number of sites. 98%of the people are not even in my geographical area. Not even close. And the algorithm doesn’t work to match me with persons with similar interests. Don’t waste your money! Very disappointed.
