I just did not make any good connections on this site.

I had taken out a 6 month premium subscription which expired today. As per the rules I tried to cancel it yesterday and again this morning. I also sent them an email asking to cancel it and to delete my profile. Today I got a charge from my credit card company saying that someone had tried to renew my subscription twice. Not only is this disgusting to me the fact that I did everything they asked me to do on their website and have the proof. I would also not recommend this site as I never really got any matches sent to me that matched my requirements until last week. To me this seems fishy. All of a sudden I'm getting requests and smiles and attention after I sent in my cancelation. I had sent an email 3 weeks ago already saying I would not renew. I would definitely not recommend this site to anyone it is a waste of time and money. Today I even had to cancel my credit card because they kept trying to renew my subscription.

I met 2 men. Both of them gave fake information and requested money from me.

I don't do a lot of reviews, but SS is so awful that I must add my voice to others who say AVOID! There is no search facility to set location age etc. and see results; you can specify something like this in your profile but your daily 'matches' bear no relation to those criteria. And 90% of the profiles sent are fake - no photos, virtually zero profile information, or so obviously cut'n'pasted. The browser page is horrible but the app is absolutely terrible. I had read a positive review somewhere so signed up for 6 months but please do not make the same mistake. Thankfully I paid by PayPal so I can can block their attempt to debit my card again, which I'm sure they will try.

This site tries to take advantage of elderly who want so desperately to have a companion. It's despicable...but someone's got to take their money right? My biggest issue which they would not correct was the fact that they did not abide by their own parameters. Mainly Distance, Age, and Ethnicity, and kept making computer algorithm excuses as to why they wouldn't conform to and respect my parameter requests. Besides the fact that there's something about a dating site that based in Germany.

Silver singles is a damm scam site, they have NO female members but only faces of profiles they snatch off of Facebook an use to intise male members, They also daily send u 10 to 20 fake pictures of either black or white woman with fake profiles to ur inbox an use Moderators they hire to talk in place of the fake female profiles to act like the woman are real , then if u ever even think about exchanging phone #s u will get no reply because there was NEVER a real female member to begin with an jus a fake ass loser moderator, they have No problem scamming ppl in there 50s an 60s for our money so please DO NOT JOIN THERE SITE , I TOOK A 1 MONTH MEMBERSHIP AN WILL NOT RENEW, THEY SHUD BE SHUT DOWN AN THE OWNER SHUT DOWN IN GERMANY, AGAIN AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAQUE

Silver Singles is not a great site. They force you to choose a six year age range for dating which can make the dates way too young or way to old. In additional you do not have the option to search the entire site for matches and the matches they send are not the best and are very limited. In addition they tend to reject most photos if you have on a spaghetti strap. I would not do this is I were you.

This dating app is the worst ever and a total waste of time, money and energy. The messages are all in a similar vein and undoubtedly generated by the app. No replies to any message I sent. I’ve cancelled by subscription and will submit a complaint. I can’t see how to delete my profile - and not getting a response to my request. I do not want my photo publicly associated with such ann appalling app. Just dreadful!
