I liked the flexibility of the silver singles sign-up process. They gather details about you and your criteria for the person you’d like to meet in a broad range of areas, but they keep the required input to just the basics. That gives you multiple ways to tweak/customize your profiles. The deal breaker for me was that the free membership blurs the pictures of the people you match with. That made them worthless to me because I want to see what the person looks like before deciding whether or not to connect with them.

I found the software to be fairlly user friendly that allows a member to set up the profile aspect. I appreciate the comprehensive questions they pose so that readers are able to get a full understanding of who the person is that they are inquiring about. It appears that they have a fairly substantial number of men in the age group I am focusing on, which thus far is reassuring. The only issue I have dealt with was the software system did not accept the zip code I entered when I started developing my profile. This tells viewers where you live and the area you are focused on. When I found the error, that they had me in the wrong zip, I tried to change it following the guidelines they provide in their customer help center. I did not read anywhere that it woud take several days for the correction to appear on the profile. After 3 days of waiting, I started sending emails regarding my issue, that led to getting someone to finally go in and manually make the correction that spilled over into the profile immediately. I experienced lack of system support from a tech point of view, I should have been able to contact tech support and fix it quickly, not have to go through several problem solving steps that they provide, all of which failed to solve my problem. Apparently this is a common issue with zip codes since several males have mentioned to me that they experienced the same situation, thus projecting a false picture of where you live because the software system picked some wrong zip code that you could not change yourself. Otherwise, all has gone well in my new adventure with SilverSingles.

I’m really not getting the greatest experience with Silver Singles. I paid over $300 for a year & I have messaged many different guys but do not get responses back from anyone, do not get pictures much of the time & many of the matches live way out of state as well as when clicking on a visitor he doesn’t even show up on my phone.

Too many of the matches are not within the requested mileage range which is not helpful as one gets older. I was disappointed that there weren't more possibilities. I will say that many/most of the matches were more professional in nature and better educated which for me was a definite plus.

No one to speak to or help with posting profile pictures! I know this is important! I've tried numerous times-- photos or in my Gallery on my Android cell phone been to Verizon twice--last time said app was not working on phone--I doubt that! If I could upload profile pictues-- I would be extremely pleased with Silver Single Services and give a 5 star rating!

I was not able to download or upload my profile pictures easily. I was messaged to go to Gallery, but I could not find it on the site. As a result, My page was responded to by white men who wanted white women. I am Black/Indian American. I feel the profile pictures I tried to upload would have been more a help. This problem ultimately had to be fixed by customer service.

I get emails from someone that visited my profile and most of the time when I open SilverSingles by clicking on the email button I get everyone who visited my profile, and most of the time not one indicated in the email

I have found that there a many scammers on this site. It seems that pictures that look "too good" are the ones to look out for! The ones with ordinary, real life pictures seem to be a little more legit. I'm going to give it a few weeks and then decide whether I continue or not.
