As a Geriatric Care Manager I work with clients in many assisted living communities and can attest that the staff at Silverado St. Charles are truly amazing. The corporate protocol is to train ALL employees (including housekeeping and dietary) how to interact with residents with Dementia and deescalate issues when a resident is having an intense behavioral expression of emotions. This makes for a much calmer environment for the residents. The team gets to know the resident on a personal level to be able to understand and facilitate conversations about people, places and other things that are important to the resident. They go out of their way to make their environment as home like as possible and if there are issues that arise, the staff goes above and beyond to correct the issue and accommodate the residents.

I’m very pleased with Silverado in St. Charles with all of the activities and experiences that are offered to the residents. Whenever I go to visit my dad there is always something going on to keep the residents engaged and interested. They always seem to be having fun! The activity director, Gwen, is a treasure. She is so enthusiastic and does a great job of including all residents with her warm, caring personality. I would highly recommend this Silverado location if you were looking for a place for a family member to thrive in a safe and caring environment.

This has been a learning experience for me. Not something that I had planned to have to take care of for my mom and dad. Whitney Sparks (Silverado Lee’s Summit) has been a tremendous help in getting through this process. Whitney and Alicia Richardson were very patient with me as I tried to get all of the paperwork needed for my parents to be placed with them. The atmosphere at Silverado is exceptional and the staff is very friendly. I feel like my parents will be well taken care of.

My mom has been at Silverado Memory Care in Lee's Summit, MO, since April of 2021 (it was a different owner at that time, Silverado took over the Lee's Summit facility in/near summer of 2022). There are really too many positive experiences that have occurred for me to just narrow them to one date. The Director, staff, nurses, and cleaning staff treat my mom like royalty every day. They are caring, respectful, and have had very little turnover so that they and my mom can have real connections over time. They have something scheduled every day, if my mom wants to take advantage of the activities, and she does. Her mental and physical help are much better at Silverado than they were when she was still on her own because she gets the health care she needs, and eats better every day. I'm very happy my mom is part of the Silverado family! I listed December 7th below because that was their Christmas/Holiday get together. My son from out of town and my wife were able to participate in songs and light snack for the evening with mom and had a great time. Mark Cloud

Silverado Bellingham has a well thought out community, creating a very beautiful and inviting atmosphere for residents with memory loss. Their three neighborhoods provide different levels of care appropriate to the needs of residents at different stages. Their community also has engaging activities for their residents, including social interactions, music, gardening, pet visits, and optional outings. The Directors I have met are compassionate and caring, which overflows to the rest of the staff and residents.

I recently had the opportunity to spend time at Silverado Bellingham and was so impressed with the level of care and attention provided to the residents. The staff were all incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive. It was clear that they truly cared about the well-being of each and every resident. The facility itself is beautiful and well designed. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a large variety of activities and amenities for the residents. My personal connection was with their staff social worker. I appreciated her strong communication skills — she was very empathetic and took the time to answer all my questions very clearly.

Lees Summit Silverado

We have had a wonderful experience so far at Silverado Lees Summit MO. Since moving our mom there in September, they have provided exceptional care to her and have been very patient with her. A few weeks ago, with the help of the wellness team, we were able to get her on some new medications that have helped improve her attitude and cooperation so much!! The facility is beautiful and very clean. There are a lot of fun activities and parties that are great! I really appreciate the kind, helpful, supportive, and patient staff. Especially Whitney, Lesley, Kimberly (and all the activities folks) as well as the caregivers and wellness staff.
