As a community partner I have always enjoyed my visits and events at Silverado communities. The staff are always kind and welcoming to the visitors. More importantly they put their residents care before anything else. I would recommend Silverado communities to family and friends and clients.

My mother lived in Silverado, St. Charles for two years before her passing. We brought her to Silverado from another facility that we were not happy with and the experience at Silverado was much, much better. The residents can be as involved as they want to be and most importantly (to us), they had residents aligned by capability level so their engagement was relevant and meaningful. She was always well-groomed, dressed appropriately, and well-cared for. The coordination with speech and physical therapy was top-notch and seamless. We were able to have their team support assistance with transport to select dentist and doctor appointments that we considered more routine, and the on-site podiatry visits were incredibly helpful. As with any facility, setting clear expectations for communication, status updates, emergency care protocol, etc. should be part of your transition and care plan. Silverado was always happy to accommodate and their team was genuinely caring, professional and personable.

Visiting our family member and seeing the progression of his disease can be a sad experience, but every visit we also see how well the staff treat him and take care of his needs. It is such a tremendous relief and comfort for my family. We are grateful that he is able to be a resident with Silverado and could not imagine getting through this tough situation without their help and expertise.

I was worried about finding a dementia facility where everyone have knowledge and understanding about the disease. Plus I wanted to know staff and patient ratio. And that is what I found here. Everyone, is friendly and know my wife's name. They know me as well. She is comfortable and so I am comfortable. She settled well. She is satisfied with care she receives. Thank you

Entrusting your vulnerable loved one to a memory care facility is a gut wrenching decision. My search was discouraging. When I found Silverado Belmont Hills, the large, tranquil and well manicured grounds gave me hope that this would be my answer. After a comprehensive tour of the homey, ground level buildings, rooms and common spaces, I was ready to meet the staff. They are caring, kind, competent, and hard working. My husband is now in a cozy room, with his own, familiar furniture which we were allowed to bring. His many activities are age appropriate and purpose driven. He is encouraged to spend time outdoors, where the residents enjoy seeing the deer room the fenced perimeter. Live-in dogs and cats interact with him, bring the unique comfort that animals share. He is treated like family, and always shown respect. Any concerns I have are addressed and quickly resolved when possible. I feel like I am part of the whole package and afforded quick response to any questions or requests, as well as timely updates. I have made friends with management, staff and other residents, and look forward to seeing all on my visits. There is an ongoing quest for improvement since the Covid days. In summary, I have the comfort of knowing that I made the best decision for both of us.

My 89 yr old father lives in the Twin Pines wing of Silverado. The staff allowed us to paint his room and move in his own bed and furniture. This gives my dad a sense of home. He is lucky enough to have a room that faces the beautiful courtyard that is open to all residents. The courtyard gives families and residents a sense of calm and being in nature. The Twin Pines area is kept clean and orderly and this includes the residents rooms. The activities and caregiving has been thoughtful, respectful, and interactive. My dad feels well cared for. Silverado continues to try to improve it's staffing which was hurt by Covid. This is the one area that I think needs work but I know they are making strides in the right direction.

We have had a wonderful experience so far at Silverado Lees Summit MO. Since moving our mom there in September, they have provided exceptional care to her and have been very patient with her. A few weeks ago, with the help of the wellness team, we were able to get her on some new medications that have helped improve her attitude and cooperation so much!! The facility is beautiful and very clean. There are a lot of fun activities and parties that are great! I really appreciate the kind, helpful, supportive, and patient staff. Especially Whitney, Lesley, Kimberly (and all the activities folks) as well as the caregivers and wellness staff.
