I have purchased 2 ice makers made by this company and both have stopped working 1 at 13 months so past the warranty and now 1 at 7 months. I had bought an extended warranty on the 2nd one from the company I bought it from but they say they can't help till I go through the manufacturer. So I come to do a warranty claim and the form says failed to submit form please try again over and over and over! Very very upsetting!!!

This place is a rip off i ordered a $200 ice maker for it to last a year and all they can say is its out of warranty . I do not suggest this brand at all and customer is no help with trouble shooting they just tell u its defective and to purchase a new one i will never buy this brand again

I bought the ice machine in March 2026 on Amazon. It was the Silonn nugget ice maker. I had saved up my Christmas money, I felt like I had done the research and ordered the perfect ice maker. It was a bit of money but I decided to splurge, I mean it will last a year or more, right? Wrong ! I have to be honest, this was my favorite ice maker, made perfect Sonic type ice. It broke in August 2026. I reached out to the company to first get guidance on how to fix it. I tried all the things they told me to try. Nothing worked. I was extremely happy when they shipped me a new one after I jumped through all the hops to prove my purchase. When it arrived, I waited 48 hours to plug it in and it didn’t work from the get go. I again reached out to the company and the offered an 80% refund. Great! I was going to use it to purchase a new ice machine. They said they would send the money through PayPal. Seemed a little weird but I thought if I could get my money soon that would be fine. As, I am writing this today, nothing has been sent through PayPal and they keep giving me the runaround. Keep telling me it has been processed and I should get it any day now. Don’t waste your money on this ice machine. It won’t last more than 6 months.

Can be difficult to clean and plug needs to be replaced often

Only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the difficulty of ordering the part i needed , you cant just give the company your credit card to place the order for what you need . You have to go through a bunch of hoops to get the order done. I did get the part quick once I was able to do all the steps to place the order.

We bought this unit from Amazon about a year ago. We have decent water quality in our East Bay home in the San Francisco Bay Area through EBMUD (East Bay Municipal Utility District). We have used Crystal Geyser bottled water ever since we bought this. I agree that the instructions are weak. It took me a while to change the cube thickness. My big complaint now is that the self cleaning doesn't seem to work. When the unit gets loud, I try to clean it. None of the images show on the unit indicating that it is cleaning the unit. It has been a decent ice maker. We don't use the tiny scoop. We dump the ice bucket contents into a plastic open-top container in our freezer and that suits us. The Crystal Geyser water puts out almost clear ice.
