Coming from a traditional healthcare plan (BCBS), I have been very happy with Sidecar so far. As a self-employed individual, health insurance can be very frustrating. But I am already spending less, was able to choose my own plan/deductible, and have enjoyed more benefits than I ever received from the former provider.

My monthly insurance premium is way less than other insurance companies and, not having a deductible, off sets that monthly fee. It is a pay as you go plan and I have had several medical expenses either match what the plan pays or have received a credit back to my account as I paid more than what Sidecar reimburses. You need to do a bit of due diligence to make sure you get the appropriate invoice for medical services before they reimburse, yet it is worth it.
