WARNING TO PET OWNERS: DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH SHOTVET If you’re considering using ShotVet, I strongly encourage you to think twice based on my recent experience. I received a text message stating that the event would be held at The Ugly Mug in Garner, NC. When I arrived, no one was there. At least 15 other people and I got the same disappointing answer: there was no event there. When I contacted ShotVet’s support desk, I was told the event was actually taking place in the next town over. After driving to the other location, ShotVet finally showed up 30 minutes late. This experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely unacceptable. Pet owners take time out of their busy schedules to make sure their animals receive the care they need. We deserve accurate information, clear communication, and a company that respects our time. Based on this experience, I have decided that I will never use ShotVet again. The lack of communication and organization has seriously damaged my confidence in this company. My advice to other pet owners: proceed with caution and confirm the event location directly before making the trip. I hope ShotVet takes these complaints seriously and makes the necessary improvements, because pet owners and their animals deserve better. Please Share

I only went to shotvet because I needed a last minute Bordetella booster and my vet is currently out of town. They advertise “low cost”, but it was way more expensive than from my vet! This felt like a scam… and the young girl doing the vaccination couldn’t have been old enough to drive.

They would not honor the $29 rabies shot. I was told I had to pay for that online, but online would only give me $29 rabies if I bundled with other shots. I told them I wanted the $29 rabies only and the online post did not state it was bundle pricing. It was a single service. The people were rude and would not help me. Instead they just threaten with you can sit and figure this out and let others go ahead of you. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

I would not recommend anyone use Shot Vet for pet vaccines. The technician who administered the vaccines to my dogs was not experienced giving vaccines. She put it in my dogs rear legs and hit a nerve in the leg. She couldn't even walk out of the store after the vaccine. When she got home she collapsed and lost control of her bowels. Then right before my eyes my other dog also deteriorated with the same symptoms. I thought I was going to lose both my dogs after the vaccines. Beware these people don't know what they are doing. May save you money but you may lose your dogs. A horrible experience!

43-minute call to ShotVet AFTER waiting an hour in the sun to PICK UP MEDS I ALREADY PAID FOR. THEY screwed up, didn’t pick up my script in time, sent me to pick up at a location only to be told meds were shipped and I wasn’t allowed to pick up, even though they had the meds right in front of me! After being told I could LEGALLY GET MY OWN PRESCRIPTION so I could go wherever I want (and not have to deal with this screwed up company EVER AGAIN!), I was told by the “regional manager Maria” that not only was there a transfer fee, but that I had to give them the name/phone number to who I was ordering from (in six months) and they would release prescription to THEM. How backwards and scammy is this?!?!!!! So, in six months, after my pet meds run out I NOW have to call this back-a$$-wards company again, wait on HOLD FOREVER, argue my case AGAIN about why I don’t want to use ShotVet ever again, call the future petmed company, and tell them to “standby” as someone from ShotVet will be calling them to give them the actual prescription!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?!!!! [PS - Maria oh so graciously said they’d waive the Rx transfer fee AFTER I asked] NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! Save yourself the TIME and HEADACHE!!!!!

Just don't! I scheduled a time slot for a pop up CVS in Collegeville Pennsylvania. Waited 45 minutes. No one showed up. Called the phone number. 10 minute wait. Representative informed me that the doctor had "A family emergency. " I would have believed a flat tire!!! Improve your business model, Shot Vet.

Important note: this review is re: SHOT VETS, which is facilitated by PetSmart. Bad experience. $440.00 to vax 2 dogs, pretty pricy. Not notified that boosters were going to be an *additional* $200.00 when we followed up a month later. No response to emails sent in between times for questions we had, we have unsubscribed from reminders several times over quite a while, but now we receive repeated notices that dogs are overdue for shots-incorrect, they've all been completed. So lots of spam and incorrect info/they do not update their info on that end. Workers: Late for start time of clinic and looking disheveled/out of it, on a Saturday morning. Then, even with appointment, took customers out of order of line position AND scheduled appointment. Gave wrong info (said dog park was fine, immediately after getting shots-incorrect; vet tech gave totally different answer when we asked a 2nd person, thankfully). Discount of 10%, ie: $20. initially offered for lack of informing us of total cost/extra $200. expected on booster visit-we negotiated a better discount, but after much time wasted and back and forth with their employee on the phone to some office/manager-type. Just over all price gouging, disorganization, shadiness, subpar work and plenty of time wasted. Never again.

Horrible company! No organization! I went there and waited for over an hour an and a half. No organization between prepay or non prepay lines or signs and they let whining people cut ahead and when the staff were confronted they lied and said they were prepaid! If that was the case why did every single one of them have to hand over their credit or debit cards again. Also, I was quoted one price for rabies alone over the phone, I get there and they tried charging almost triple per each dog in person. No wonder this company is from Florida!!! So corrupt and inept!
